I found this server while checking if there was any servers running for this game at all, and since i started playing on it i haven't gone back to playing singleplayer since, there is just no point. The ammount of work put into the servers is amazing and i've had alot more fun on KoW than i ever had playing the original content.

Just Checked it out and its very cool. Highlights to me:
LOADS of quests.
The crazziest items i ever saw "toe of the greasy Mindflayer" That owns!
Kind and helpfull players and staff.
I suggest you check them out like NAO!

I've played on the server for a couple of weeks, and i am impressed how friednly and helpfull everybody around there is. Keep up the good work!

Pros: Not a bad server, decent amount of detail. Nice looking areas, the PRC. Definitely worth a look. Cons: High Magic world, not very open community, but alot of servers are this way. Still definitely a qualified recommendation.

A Qualified Recommendation indeed. But still some room left for improvements. I guess the people playing here now what I mean.
Could you do everyone a favor and make it known that your PW requires SOZ. After spending so much time reading the description and your website, downloading all the files, and then getting the missing expansion pack error message - it really sucked. If you did put out that important tidbit of information, you buried it quite nicely. Good job.

I have been on this server for 2 years now after trying a number of others. KOW is by far the best I found. It is continually being updated with new maps and monsters for you to kill. Most of the maps scale according to the level of the group giving harder battles as you increase in level as well as better XP for winning the battle. Sure you can die but here you can almost always get in a group and if you die, one of them will rez you so you don't lose xp or gold. Yes can can solo a lot of the areas, in fact most if your character is a strong one but you can gain xp faster in a group. Try it out!
What is the ip for direct connect for your 2 servers? Gamespy is down, bandwith limit exceeded at your homepage and forum.

just wanted to let people here know that much great content has been added recently to both the KOW and KOW2 servers including the SoZ content, many custom new monsters and quests, tools for questing, crafting and updated systems. The server has implemented Kaedrin's PrC pack with a miriad of new classes and feats, many maps have been improved and much more new content will follow shortly as we all anticipate....server transitions :o)

I have been exploring different PW's looking for a great place to do my casual NWN2 playing and just happened to hear about KOW from another player on LOA (another server). The PC was so adamant about what a great place it is, I had to try it. That was 3 weeks ago, it seems to be the most balanced server that I have been on and you certainly can appreciate all of the hard work that went into this project. The player community is great and I have had a number of occasions when I wasn't high enough to venture far out on my own only to have other players go get lower characters just so we could put together a party. I still have a lot of world to discover, but am more than willing to take the time to learn.

BTW Any chance at getting the "Hatsplosion" mod by Schazzwozzer here at the vault integrated into the gameworld? It adds a whole number of fantastic hats for us non-fighter/cleric types, best of all a decent Wizard's hat!
Tauschitz: You delete the KOW and KOW2 folders in your Atari/Modules folder

very good server, very friendly people especially towards beginners like me. it has certainly given me a good reason to play again NWN2. i think i have more fun playing in this server for free than other games that yiou have to pay.
only problem the frequent break downs but this is common within all the servers
