These are the *.2da, dialog.tlk, *.xml, *.ncs and *.nss files (aka scripts for feats and spells) needed to play Kaedrin's PrC 1.40.1a, Drammel's Book of the Nine Swords 1.142, Saralach's Invocation Pack, Cyphre's Animal Companions, Loki's Familiars, and a Partridge in a Pear Tree. The dialog and other entries for Mysteries of Westgate are in there, but figuring out how to create import all of this into the MoW module is beyond me for now. When in doubt, I kept the newest version of apparently identical scripts, and in the case of overlap between Saralach and Kaedrin I used Kaedrin's version (notably practiced invoker and ability foci for eldritch blast and invocations). No favoritism, just pragmatism. Resistance is futile, you will be assimilated.
All credit goes to the authors, all criticism for undiscovered incompatabilities is mine. And there will be. Play test and let me know what I need to fix.
Ibid: An OPTIONAL set of files that allows a Cleric with the Knowledge Domain to actually...wait for it...know more stuff. I added the Able Learner feat to the bonus spells, so no more domain envy for Oghmites, Azuthans, etc.
You will still need to download the complete file sets for the original hakpaks and place them in your <My Documents/NWN2/override> folder to use the Multipass. I recommend following Drammel's instructions for merging his work with Kaedrin's before replacing with mine. DO NOT move, delete, replace, vex, harass, or bullyrag any of the files on your computer without making a back up in a safe location first.
*OPTIONAL* I like being able to spend the Fighter's feat allocation any way I please, not being forced to choose medium and heavy armor or shield proficiencies for my light fighter. I also allow many more class skills (but no more skill points) than canon rules allow because it makes sense to me. If it doesn't to you, then see above.
This project is officially "Free to a Good Home", I just don't have the skill or time to improve it at this point. Good luck, come back with your shields or on them... _________________________ My Sworn Word, My Own Sword.
Specificly, I cannot level up any of the bo9s classes in any campaign, despite having both expansions. I get a level disallowed by server message. Works without multipass installed with just prc+bo9s.
I tried this and encountered some problems. You seem to have removed duplucate spells like K's Orb and Living Undeath etc. I guess you should have just replaced the OEI scripts with Kaedrin's if you want to remove the duplicates (which I agree is better), but the orb spells you left don't have things like sneak attack support.I tested this.
Also, I didn't like the change in font size and gui changes. This should be optional.
Otherwise, good work, but because of things like no sneak on spells, I had to give it a miss.
It's better than the other Mass Prc Merger, which basically messed up the ToB install. But it would be nice if everyone could come together and produce a single mega NWN2 download and be done with it.

Chr0niC seems to be right. Just add the original, unedited mods then the Multipass folders. Rename the Multipass folders to start with the letter Z. The game will load Multipass last, thus overriding earlier mods. Sweet, elegant and simple as dirt.

Man, installing this is confusing. Can't you just compress the latest assembled version you made and put it all in one zip? Detailed installation instructions would be nice. If something isn't working right, there's no way to know what it is.

does this need to be updated for keadrin's new release?
To be dead honest, I selected the items that looked better at the moment. "Practiced Invoker" etc, I believe I went with Kaedrin when in doubt since he is more prolific. Honestly I don't even play Warlocks so any feedback is helpful, unless it requires me to change the scripts themselves, which is still over my head. I don't think there is a fix for the fighter feats except to only place those in the override when making your own PC, and pluck them back out prior to Khelgar/Shandra/etc. _________________________ My Sworn Word, My Own Sword.

How did you resolve the overlap between Kaedrin and Saralach? They have overlaps and distinctions.

A problem with the optional fighter feats is that module NPC's use it as well, so Khelgar, for example, will not generate with medium armor or shield proficiencies. In his case this might be a good thing, but I will use a character editor if I want to do this.

Forgot to mention. Couldn't give you a ten as it's too hard to install. A drag and drop version would be a perfect ten.

Pretty darned good. I registered just to say so. Couple of points, though: your reference from the news section made this very difficult to actually find. There literally is no "hackpacks: combined" section, so searching on that led nowhere useful. New people were getting lost. I came across a few clueless posts on that topic.
2 Kaedrin updated his modi right after you posted this, but it looks like the whole thing still works. Now with that annoying Nvidia bug making it near impossible to actually play I might take a closer look and see how it all works.

No, Loki's Familiars is here, not the class pack. I will entertain adding other stuff that gets votes. Not seeing a lot of interest this time around, so I don't know if the the product is not working well or there is just little interest as is. Hmmm... _________________________ My Sworn Word, My Own Sword.
All constructive feed back or random opinion (if explained) is welcome. If it wasn't clear from the above, I accidentally left altered files in my first uploaded version. If you want the plain vanilla Fighter class feats and skills use the above "canon fighter" files. If you would rather spend your feats on something other than armor and shields, use the optional files. _________________________ My Sworn Word, My Own Sword.

another question is it also possible to just use your folders put the letter Z in front of them so they load last and throw them in the override dir i did this and everything seems fine at first glance.
Posted by Chr0niC at 2010-05-12 05:59:56 Voted 10.00 on 05/11/10
so what you are saying is that i should find all files with 2da extension in override folder and put them in one directory and then overwrite them with your 2da files? and then do the same for xml etc.
