This project aims to replace many of the default game heads. As of now I am only supporting the OC heads but will see about updating the heads added in expansions once I have completed this step. Bare in mind I am working alone and this is a huge undertaking :)
Many of the heads have not been fully tested for animation and there may well be other bugs to be found so please feel free to let me know if you find any.
Completed so far:
Updated eye textures (should work on all races that use P_HHM_Eye01)
10 female and 15 male human heads
5 male and 5 female Aasimar heads
6 male and 6 female Half Elf heads
3 Sun Elf Male and 5 female heads
3 Drow Male and 5 Female heads
2 hairs that replace the bald and mohawk female hair presets so that none of the NPCs that use those hairstyles will make your eyes bleed with horrible seams :P
In progress:
Tiefling 10% complete (on hold)
Companions: 10% complete, breakdown below.
Bevil 100% complete
Neeshka 100% complete
Elanee 100% complete
I will release the companion pack once I have finished polishing and testing them.
This project is designed to provide updated resources that can be used by the community as well as the casual player simply wanting a better looking game. All assets are free to use, alter and distribute provided credit is given. I will not be making a non replacing pack for this project due to the sheer amount of work involved in completing it let alone renaming potentially upwards of a hundred models.
The reason I decided to go this route is because I wanted to play through the game again but could not bare to look at the character creation screen. As a hobbyist character artist its just one of those things I can't forgive. This way, not only does the character creation screen get a much needed face-lift but so too will the NPCs in the game, I am already working on the companions/NPC heads as well as the race heads so keep checking in here for updates.
Feel free to use my work to create non replacing versions, re-textures, variations, new races and whatever else you lovely imaginative people can conceive and above all, enjoy the project :)

On a side note I would like to state that these heads are not ported from the dragon age toolset, they are all created in 3d studio max. The only thing that was ported is a custom head mod of my own creation that was initially created for Dragon age. I am sorry if this has caused any confusion, sadly there is no way to port head morphs from dragon age into any other game. The head that I started from was a head that I created and imported into DA:O for a project I was working on, it turned out to be unsuitable for my needs for the project so I decided to make use of it for NWN 2. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.
UPDATE:
Human Male pack now fixed for use with clone MDB. Slight order change to better suit the OC. All heads now animate correctly.
As I said over on the nexus: I have had to focus on quantity rather than variation in order to have a hope of even coming close to finishing this project. Every head has a unique shape so that retextures and such will make a lot of difference in providing more variation. My goal with this project was not to create a pack that would have everything but rather one that allows other modders and module authors as much freedom for customization and variation as possible. Basically this project is designed to be a jump off point for further mods by the community. I have tried to lay out my UVs in such a way as to make retexturing as painless as possible and I look forward to seeing what the community does with these :) This project represents months of work and had I tried to create that level of variation this project would likely have been restricted to a single race so I decided to take this route and leave the variation to the rest of the community. Also, bare in mind that I am not done with the pack yet ;) As for down-voting, the rating system is there for a reason, for the individual to rate a mod based on their own criteria so if you think that your vote is fair then that is all that counts really. Thanks for the vote and feedback. _________________________ NWN1 Head and body pack NWN2 Facelift Pack. 7 times they came and 7 times they died who can say what the 8th will bring.

I hope not giving a full 10 isn't already considered downvoting. To explain I'll simply copy and paste my comment from the Nexus site: First off, the quality of the heads is fantastic. I finally got around to install them and looking at the vanilla heads in between your overrides comes as a huge shock, I doubt I can ever use them anymore. Also, thousands of kudos for doing this kind of a "basic mod" for such an old game, I would've expected something like this much earlier and it's great to see someone's still willing to mod an old gem like NWN2 while the rest is off modding Skyrim. Now, after all the praise you already got for these let me nitpick a little, on the highest level of course because no doubt the quality is outstanding. I'd have a little problem recommending or using these as a replacement for a PW and existing characters, because as good as they are, I found it hard to recreate my old characters. In many cases I simply couldn't find the head I used anymore, and when I found one it looked so different that I didn't recognize them anymore. As good as they are, in between all those beauties I can't see those heads anymore I considered outstanding in the vanilla bunch, they're a bit too uniform. Which might be due to nitpick number too, and that's a bit too much makeup and beauty for my taste. I used some vanilla heads for creating younger characters because they were a good fit for a teenager, but these now look like 20+ beauties too. If I were to use them in my module (and I'm afraid I'll have to, because the quality is so good), I'd probably have to retexture a few faces again in PS to make them appear more natural. Anyway, that's my little nitpicking, nevertheless your work is great and I hope to see the rest soon, like the SoZ, halflings, dwarves.... yeah, lots of work for you. :) _________________________ Middleforest - An upcoming NWN2 PW Skins for all races

Awesome, keep it up.

Oh I tried renaming them to be non replacing. I got stuck because the files are in a foreign language so the mdb cloner thinks one of the hair models uses head model textures and try as I might I cannot get it to texture propperly. I'd probably have less trouble with the other models but I haven't started on them yet.

Amazing work - shame there isn't a non-replacing version (just to add further models) but then as the author said, there are hundreds of models that would need renaming and afterall, why keep the b*tt ugly vanilla models? _________________________ Forgotten Realms Cormyr Visit us at www.frcormyr.proboards.com A NWN2 PW, from one of the creators of BGTSCC

Thanks Balgin, it will be addressed in an update once I have completed the other packs I am working on at the moment. I am still working on this, the moon elf pack is just a little larger than the others and it taking me longer. It will be complete soon ;) _________________________ NWN1 Head and body pack NWN2 Facelift Pack. 7 times they came and 7 times they died who can say what the 8th will bring.

Ironicaly there appears to be a resource clash with..... wait for it..... Xaltar's ethnic Headpack! It's causing textures to display incorrectly because some of the heads in both packs share texture file names for different textures. It could be clashing with something else. I haven't finished shuffling files in and out of the override folder to check yet. Just thought I'd let you know now.
