Excellent work, I picked it up in the Skullhak because Im not too skilled at 2da consolidation, but wanted to come to the source to give thanks.

@DarkOak - The problem is simply that his placeables.2da is way out of date. If you move his rows numbers to another location and update the appearances of the blueprints, you should be good to go.

Very nice selection of prints with mixed themes. These are really valuable for making interiors unique. Thanks!

These are very nice paintings, I quite loved them, but they break all of the expansion placeables making them useless as a PW builder. _________________________ The Obsidian Shore Link

These are quite nice and superior to the paintings provided by Obsidian.

Thomas_B & Everyone Else: I used these excellent paintings in Harp & Chrysanthemum, my latest mod. They fit the bill perfectly. Thank you for all your hard work! _________________________ Maerduin's Blog Link
I'm sorry that I didn't answered your question, but I was REALLY busy with work (the bad one which pays the bills) the last few months.
But the next "25 Pictures" release will contain a small tutorial which should answer your questions. I can't make any promises though when this will be released.

Hey. I'd like to replace some of your textures with others (my friend is an artist) and it would be great to add his works to our multiplayer module. I'm not a modeler so I just want to use existing models. But how to make existing model to use different texture?

I just downloaded the files, put these in a mod, and viewed them from a player character perspective. As long as I had the camera fully zoomed out, the images were ok, but if I zoomed in even a little while standing near the paintings, the resolution contrast was too noticeable.
I noticed that sizes of the associated mdb (6 kB), dds (68 kB), and utp (3 kB) were all very small/ module friendly. I'd like to be able to create some paintings, with a bit higher resolution, and of some other pictures. Though I haven't created dds, utp, or mdb formats before; Can you outline your process and software tools used?
One other thing to note was you had a very user friendly orgaized pack there, complete with comprehensive readme instructions. I spent a lot of time learning about anything related to custom content, and if everyone made their instructions this clear, it could make that learning process a lot easier, so just wanted to thank you for that.

In my mind, a much-needed hak for those who want to give their interiors a more solemn, classy, or regal tone (the standard paintings are nice for what they are, but not very majestic). As someone else pointed out, the standard paintings also feel too contemporary. Thomas_B also made a wise choice in not picking out paintings that are *too* recognizable--i.e., immersion-breaking (Mona Lisa wouldn't fly in the warlock's castle).
These are recommended to anyone, but for those making interiors with the traits I list above, I think this hak is a must-have! _________________________ Maerduin's Blog Link

These are pretty awesome. Can you reveal the process you used for making them? Or is it pretty self explanatory? (I haven't experimented much with the toolset yet)

Hmmm. It seems nobody answered my post on the forums. I suppose there just is nobody interested in converting these over there. It was a good try, though.
I have posted an inquiry in the forums for Nwn1 to see if anyone there might be able to convert the placeables. My thanks for your permission to do this, Thomas_B!

Excellent! :) _________________________ German NWN1/2 persistent world: Hochwaldallianz
Being unable to run Nwn2, I normally don't comment of anything released for it, but this caught my eye as unique. Would it be possible to create a pack of these placeables for use with Nwn1? As a huge fan of the classical artists such as Bosch and Rembrandt, I can see these sprucing up Nwn1 nicely. Were I a player of Nwn2, I would find these a very useful addition indeed, worthy of a 10 at least.

Thomas_B with a little searching (google Medieval Art turned up a few images in the first couple of pages of images) non-religous medieval art can be found. Though perhaps more wood block prints (still done largely traditionally) and sumi-e paintings are an option to consider. Examples of Asian Calligraphy which is displayed as wall hangings is also an option.

Looks great. Feel free to make some paintings out of Neverwinter Nights and Icewind Dale portriats.

This is great, while not every module can use them, they are much better than the overly modern looking pieces that OEI provided. Perhaps some even more classically styled pictures as well?
