More masks you say.... One amongst you has heard your cries and delivered. But this is no fruity feather adorned carnival fluff. Oh no, I offer you nothing less than the myriad malicious faces of evil. "Family game" my left butt cheek! Now my friends, it's time to GET YOUR SKULL ON! I just spent the last two weeks and the remaining shreds of my sanity trying to figuring out how to use 3ds max. Not sure what I'm going to do when my 30 day free trial expires :( This override adds 8 new hoods/masks, selectable as "cloth helmets" 61-69. Masks 66-69 are my new invention I call "Possession Masks". These are all modifications of Ireni's Hoods so I should thank Cyric the Dark for getting the ball rolling. Cupcakes for the devil my friends ;)
61- Skull mask w/out hood (all male)
62- Skull mask/hood (all male)
63- half-skull mask/hood (all male)
65- hood w/out mask (all)
66- Pazuzu Possession (all)
67- Booholder (male/female Orc only)
68- Phant-hag-magoric (all female)
69- Devilish Dragon (all)
These objects are of good quality and of ingenious design I'm surprised that they turned out so spectacular!
You mention your free-trial is expiring? I know a very handy way to get a free-trial over and over and over. It is very simple and involves uninstalling after your key-trial ends, then backup all desirable information, then computer wipe (which will wipe-out the registry keys and install logs in your computer), then redo everything and download another free trial. If you have properly done as said the free-trial will act as if it is your first time all over again!
XD
o.O oh, but don't tell them I told you, or I'll be poop on a stick, nah just kidding, no harm done. _________________________ @===============================================@
Vinchenzo made a post here.
Plz check out my entries. I'm currently making a few simple modules, designing 3 special characters, and hope to someday be good this stuff.
This is Vinchenzo, finishing his post with the following advice:
Don't use Latin improperly (Lupis means grey, Rufus is red, Canid is dog, so on.) Furries annoy me with their improper usage of such. And I'm a furry!!! Ugh...
Don't vote for Beta things unless told they are finished, unless posted specifically by the author.
Don't abuse the vote and post function, don't vote for your own/friends stuff just to get a high vote. Don't flame vote either just to be an ass.
There is a voting system for how the points are used, even I forget, but we should follow it (and tattoo it to our forehead, lol)

Very impressive - my players have been asking for masks for some time. Many thanks for sharing - and if you are taking requests how about a Hannibal Lector mask - suitable for a half-orc barbarian ;)
Believe you have to make a UTI file of each mask to get the items through the give item command! I don't know hot to do it but I've seen other mods use UTI files and the name of the UTI file is the item code. Ask/PM a fellow modder like Aleanne.
Anyway has anybody got this to work with and already existing character in the middle of a campaign? And how did you do it? _________________________ love games
Nice work, I have a question about making custom helms. I have made a few but I am wondering if there is a way for the helm to ovveride the hair geometry. If you can help me e-mail me @ [email protected]. Any help would be great.

Amazing work, technically,i am not just impressed,im a bit jealous as to how you pulled the ideas off so smoothly...also,drop me an e-mail if you can,id like to discuss something with you about custom content.
I'm now in the sage's tower in Nestlehaven. Damn these battles are tough! I'm doing it with just my PC and the Gnome thief. It's the first time in awhile that I've actually had to reload my game several times. Great job, I'm really enjoying a proper challenge! About a hak/erf for this...I don't know how to do it actually. So, I'll have to spend some time figuring it out first.

any chance of this getting done in a hak/erf setup? _________________________ Jackyo [email protected]
Thanks dirtywick! I'm not sure what Obsidian was thinking with their their choice of helmets. Did they really play the PNP?? They seemed to have wasted a lot of time making practically useless plate mail head cans and such. All of the community helmets are 10 times better.
Hey Andy. I don't know about the give item command. Never used it. First put the Get Your Skull On folder in the override folder. Then just open up the toolset. Open up a module in the toolset. Make a cloth helmet and then select appearance #62 (for example). Save the module. Next, import a character into that module and pick up the helmet. Save the character. I don't know how to give items to a character that's already in the middle of a game. Never done it. So let me know if you figure out the give item command for this.
I am eager to try out these masks, but you have not said anywhere how to get them into the game. What are the items tags for the "giveitem" command? I've tried typing in the file names etc... but none of those work so I assume the actual tags are different. If I knew how to import the items into the Toolset i'd look for the tag there, but I don't know how.
Hey Alurihl! Alas, I'd really like to make more stuff like this, but my 30 day free trial of 3ds max finished two days ago. I'm finishing up some skins for about 5 new half-orc heads that I hope to post sometime soon. But until I find another (free or reasonably priced!) 3D program that can effectively alter helmets and head models for NWN2, I'm out of business for awhile. I just can't afford 3ds max (a shame since I spent a month trying to figure out how to use it!). If you or anyone else can suggest a program, please let me know. Anyone is welcome to email me directly about it at [email protected]
Thanks!

works like it should AND found a use for it in a little module i am working on. thumbs up, kudos, congrats on a job well done.
Thanks for making that stuff, komuro. I really appreciate it. Cant wait to see it. _________________________ Level Designer - Ossian Studios NWN2: Mysteries of Westgate - NWN2's only Adventure Pack
I just submitted two new bandit\ninja style hoods to the vault. They're pending approval but they should hit the vault in a day or so. The hood was harder to do than I initially thought...mostly due to my lack of skill with 3ds max. Now I'm going to take a break from messing around with these models and play Night Howls in Nestlehaven ;) I downloaded it a month ago and haven't had a chance to look at it yet.
I've almost got that bandit hood done for ya, Shade. I'm tempted to make an evil flesh-stiched Babau hide bandit assassin hood as part of my commitment to vile content. However, I'm attempting to restrain myself ;) Maybe I'll make both. I'll try to finish it up in the morning. Now it's bed time zzzzzzz....

It's the Destro family reunion!
Very cool stuff here, nice work. I can see entire modules wrapping around some of these beautys. _________________________ Raith Veldrin

Thanks Ridge! I hope everyone enjoys these. I'm working on some others, but I have to take a bit of a break. Staring at the computer screen constantly for the past couple of weeks has damaged my eyesight and cooked my brain ;)
