An EvilShade whispered into my ear that the community needs a "Bandit style" hood. Let it be written let it be done. "Get Shady!" override adds two new hoods selectable as cloth helms 70 and 71. EvilShade Bandit (#70) is for all you real ultimate power bandit ninja out there. But if shady shinobi aren't your style, then check out Babau Bubba (#71) for an abyssally inspired Babau skin hood for all your vile villainous needs.
Now here's the unfortunate part...due to time constraints (and my lack of skill), these only fit Human and Tiefling males at the moment. Sadly, they don't fit Half-elves because Half-elves have horribly deformed heads and are much more hideous than any monstrosity I could dream up ;)
I'll try to get around to making these available for all races/genders in the near future. Enjoy!
Noob Question.... Sorry, I have no experience with Haks. Do I have to do anything with this file, other than putting it in the override folder?
Convert it to A .Hak file or anything like that?
Hoods look great BTW

ok, how the hell do i spawn these in my character's inventory in-game? what is the console giveitem command? Cause i've tried everything and nothing is working
Komuro, not related to this topic but there havn't been any posts in the related topic for some time and I need to ask you a question about the "Get Your Skull On" mod. You say "they are selectable as Cloth Helmets #-#" but I have no idea how to get them into the game, I wish to use the giveitem command but what are the tags for these items?
If anyone else knows how to find out, or knows what the tags are, please post a reply.
Thanks.

Sorry, Joy. I don't know what to tell you. It seems to work fine for other people. Maybe your download got corrupted somehow. You might try to download it again.

yep, you are right, so sorry for the trouble komuro, but still dosn't workin T_T
Thanks Jackyo! I just started playing Nestlehaven 1. I'm really enjoying it. I'm planning to post some new heads for Half-orcs in a few days. This will include a half-dragon head with selectable horns of various sizes. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. This head will work great for a demon lord as well. I noticed you turned an ogre mage into a demon at the beginning of Nestlehaven. It looked great--more like a demon than the demon models ;)

Looks great! Will be installing tonight. Needed something like this for an assassin character for nestlehaven part2.
Dont be surprised when you see this in there! _________________________ Jackyo [email protected]
Hi joy94! There is no tlk file in my Get Shady pack. My override has only .MDB files and .DDS files. I think maybe you are confusing it with another override. Maybe you have too many things in your override folder. You might want to reorganize it. Watch out for messed up .2da files you might have in the override. Get Shady is for the standard NWN2 version 1.06 2da.

Great stuff.... if only we had a mask that added splattered blood to the wearer's face..... oh, the possibilities.... especially with gore. _________________________ __________________________________________________

Oh yeah, they are fully tintable. You can change the color of the hood and the patterns on the hood. The main hood has the orange glow on it, changing the color underneath does alter the color a little bit. If you remove the glow file from the override folder, then you can change the pattern to any color you want.
Haven't heard anything about Ossian since that once-premium module they released for free. I'd love to hear about what they are working on.
Great hoods, by the way. are they tintable? _________________________ __________________________________________________

Hey everyone! Hope you like the hoods. These are very easy to modify to your own liking. If you don't like the glow effect, just throw out the P_HHM_CL_helm06_i.DDS file, or better yet, open it in photoshop and change the glow pattern, black it out, whatever (you'll need the free photoshop plug-in for opening DDS files). (Just don't change the names of the files). The hood is fully tintable, so if you don't want the pattern, just make it the same color as the rest of the hood ;) The reason the files are named "...helm_06" is because this override simultaneously fixes the normal for Cloth Helm #5 which was too shiny and didn't display correctly under certain conditions.

Very nice. Any chance of just releasing a plain one?
