Name  Orc Spoiled!
Author  Komuro
Submitted / Updated  07-31-2007 / 07-31-2007
Category  Combos - All-In-One
Patch  1.06
Description
"Orc Spoiled!" adds 5 new heads for Half-orc males (2 half-dragon heads and 3 heads based on Uthanck from the OC). All heads have tintable tattoos. It also adds 5 new pairs of horns (hair) for Half-orc males, 3 new sets of dragon scale armor with Japanese style arm tattoos, and finally 2 giant sized weapons for pounding those irritating paladins into unrecognizable pulp.

Half-orcs may have gotten the shaft when it comes to stats--especially since those pesky Wood Elves showed up with their bonuses to Str and Dex (how a twig-boy elf manages a 20 strength is a mystery to all), but now Half-orcs finally have a chance to get even. My override makes Half-orcs bigger and badder than ever. The only thing meaner than a half-dragon is a half-orc/half dragon with big ass horns and a huge demon possessed axe. You had better do some stretches cause it's time to get Orc Spoiled!

New Half-orc heads:
#20- Half-dragon with dragon tattoo
#21- Uthanck head with tribal tattoo (hair tints by facial hair).
#22- Uthanck head with Yurtrus hand tattoo.
#23- Uthanck head with one eye and Gruumsh tattoo.
#24- Half-dragon with glowing dragon tattoo and tribal tattoo combo.

Horns (hair):
#41- Medium horns
#42- Small horns (one broken)
#43- Large horns
#44- X-large horns
#45- Long flaming horns (note: appears as a bald head in the character creation screen--reason is that the horns have an invisible texture and are made only of light. They display fine in-game).

Dragon Scale Armor:
Scale mail #2- Arm tattoo shows hero wrestling a giant serpent.
#3- Arm tattoo shows hero slaying a demon. Includes glowing lightning pattern, and tintable back pattern.
#4- Arm tattoo shows the famous Tenryuji cloud dragon (a Japanese national treasure). Shoulder-pads also have glowing pattern.

Dread axe- selectable as Great Axe head #10 (handle is #9). This axe is best used as a "Creature Giant Axe". It's just too big to be used as a normal Great Axe. Inspired by an old anti-hero some of you may remember....

Skull Smasher- This giant hammer head is selectable as Warmace head #9. This is a modification of Warhammer head #5 which Obsidian neglected to provide a handle for. They did a great job of designing it though ;)

Enjoy!

Sorry to say this but I've used your orcs as hobgoblins in my campaign , please don't take offence I think they enjoyed it really...! Really good stuff even works with lipflappers ..

I really liked this hak, and being my first one, I'm really impressed... But, I couldn't find the armor. So uh... Please explain where to find it?

I felt it a bit remiss of myself not to leave a vote and comment sooner. You're content is great! My first foray into custom content was a creature head months ago. I learned a lot from your heads. My minotaur head would not have been possible otherwise. Thanks!

Sorry undeadsteak, I was thought you might be one a them tofu eating elf lovers. But that's not fair. You are undead meat, and as such, you could never be an elf lover. And since you're a steak, you couldn't possibly wield a giant axe since you have no arms. It's all becoming clear now. As a steak, with the "still spell" feat, magic would be your sole means of attack--magic and perhaps smothering someone in their sleep if you could somehow drop onto their head. My apologies, I can see now why this wouldn't be so useful to you :P

:D, yeah, but the axe is a bit too huge to be weilded. Of course, i supposed it'd work for somone with 32 str.... And Tofusteak? O_o, where did that come from..?

Posted by komuro at 2007-09-03 03:33:56
Undeadsteak, you're a bit of a contradiction. Are you sure you're not a tofusteak? Magic is unrealistic my friend. The hammer was designed by obsidian. I just put a handle on it. And of course the axe looks weird...it's a giant sized great axe possessed by a demonic undead dragon! It's useful for someone like a big ass half-orc/half-dragon with a 32 strength ;)

The warmace reminds me of a robot, and the axe just looks weird. The reason i don't like them. A bit unrealisitic IMO. And what use would an undeadsteak have for weapons? Magic is what its all about baby :)

Komuro, not related to this topic but there havn't been any posts in the related topic for some time and I need to ask you a question about the "Get Your Skull On" mod. You say "they are selectable as Cloth Helmets #-#" but I have no idea how to get them into the game, I wish to use the giveitem command but what are the tags for these items?

If anyone else knows how to find out, or knows what the tags are, please post a reply.

Thanks.

Hey Tegashi! A custom race is just what I'd like to have. That's what Half-orcs really need to make them even (stat wise) with the other races. Custom races is something I don't (yet) know how to do though. Also, I'd like to separate those heads for you, but I made these with a trial version of 3ds max and my free trial ran out. So, I can't do anything with models until I find another program that works. It would be cool if someone else could do as you said and make a custom race for these heads.

You call yourself "undeadsteak" and you don't find malefic mauls and giant soul sucking great axes useful??? Shameful (shakes head)...just shameful....
Time for you to go back to undead culinary school, son ;)

The heads i like. But i dont find anything else useful. I could see the heads being used in certain rp situations, maybe a half-orc with demon blood or dragon blood.

These are quite good. Any chance I can talk you into separating the heads from the Half-Orc object list and use a naming convention that would allow them to be used by themselves? They'd make a great custom race for sure :)

Thanks Ankhalas! Yeah, I'm thinking about making more Japanese related material in the future. I live in Japan actually. I really want a wide, cone-shaped straw hat.... I've already thought about doing some more Japanese style masks--tengu, oni and such. It might be awhile before I get around to it though.

Dragon blood runs through the veins of many races, but among those possessing the hot blood of a red dragon, orcs are the most common. It's not uncommon for a red dragon to mate with an orc or half-orc in order to produce half-dragon offspring. However, the purpose for this does not serve any weak sentimental emotions such as love or affection--a red dragon has nothing but contempt for lesser races. The reason is purely strategical. Red dragons are fiercely territorial and rule over huge tracks of land. To control such a large area and protect it from encroaching dragons of other colors, other ambitions reds, and various beings of power, it is necessary for the dragon to manipulate and control the occupying lesser humanoid races. Orcs are the prime candidate for this as they are numerous, occupy all manner of environments, and exert considerable influence across many regions of Faerun. The half-orc/dragon offspring can easily dominate a strength worshiping orc tribe with its superior physical attributes, intelligence and inherent magical abilities. A half-dragon also poses little threat to the parent (at least that's what the megalomaniac dragons usually think). A few of these half-dragons rise up against their tyrannical parent or try to seize the dragon's power and riches for themselves. Most fail and meet a swift, merciless end.
Others serve their parent faithfully, even worshiping it like a god. They pass the fiery blood on to their offspring where it often lies dormant for many generations...waiting to be awakened by one with the will and determination to follow the path of the Dragon Disciple. That's where you come in my dear reader. Will you claim your birthright and unlock the volcanic power within your veins? The blood of a red dragon carries with it much more than physical strength...to embrace such power is to risk unleashing the dragon's blazing fury and greed.... Choose wisely my friend.
Just drop "Orc Spoiled" into your override folder and enjoy the spoils ;)

Great work! Would be nice to see more japanese related haks. Maybe kimonos or tengu masks? I'm doing a PW based on oriental mitology so it's a bit difficult without material. Thanks for all your work man, it's really useful!
