This is kinda a request off the nwn2 forums.
some where tying to do snow covered areas..
well with this you can now do them in 2 diff types of ground coverings.
place the tga files snow1.tga and snow2.tga and the 2da file terrainmaterials.2da in the override folder defualt location.

Sorry i cant figer out how to make a hak work with the beta toolset i think the haks are ither broken or im jsut placeing them in the wronge place.. or you cant use the nwn1 hak maker.

Try turning of "Normal Mapped Terrain" (not sure the exact text in German) and this should then work for you. _________________________ If the truth can be... told...

Could someone tell us/me how to use these textures in game? In the Toolset they work quite well, but if you try to play/test them with a 1.01 (german) Version of NWN2, you'll only get "Failure Placeholder-Textures".
Have any clue what will be required on the client side? Will the players have to put the same files in the same spots?

Thank you for this! It´s something that should´ve been in the original set. I´m sure there will be a lot of other snow options in time, but this makes it possible to create winter scenarios at once. no i have not asked on the forums yet. it has not become an issue for me yet.. i figer eventually someone will make something like this and it wil b in a hak and i can see how they did it or they will fix the hak problem or whatever the issue may be. ether way i figer someone will let me know or if it becomes an issue with me then ill look into it more.. but as of right now. this works for me as is.

if anyone knows how to make this work in a hak i would really like to know.. I tryed for hours with it not working in haks so i had to release it as an override
