While working on my own custom crafting system, I became frustrated with the lack of quality, mundane icons, so started making them. Before the night was done, I had over 303 new icons that looked pretty good. Therefore, in the spirit of the NWN2 Community, I am sharing with all you out there that may have use for them.
Oh, also included are 26 icons from Heed's Angler System - The best fishing system there is for NWN2.
If you like them, let me know. I like compliments as much as anyone else, and please don't forget to vote.
If you don't like them, you don't have to use them.
If you want something added, mention it in the comments. I plan to release a version for MotB when I get it installed. Beyond that, I will probably make an update whenever OE releases a change to the nwn2_icons.2da file.
This file is for version 1.10.1116 and includes the Bug Fix to account for Obsidian's inability to count correctly ;-). If you got the previous version, you will need to swap it out with this one, and you may need to redo the icons for some item.
Please remember that I vote according to the published scale.

Sorry to keep changing my score but Ive performed a proper test on this hak pack and found it to be very guilty of conflicting with the original icons. Mainly new icons introduced with the expansion packs (MOTB & SoZ) are affected making this hak pack mostly unappealing to expansion owners like myself.
Such a shame really, though Im sure it could be updated to prevent the conflicts?

Ok Im raising my score because I think I may be mistaken about the Obsidian icon conflicts. I believe another mod may culprit so

7 = Very Good, Deserves a Look.
Some great looking and very useful icons here however there remains an issue where there appears to be some kind of confliction going on with a few of the original Obsidian icons. Although it is not noticeable in the toolset, I'm getting the occasional 'No Texture' error on some of the original icons in game. Its a rather annoying little snag and prevents this very good effort from being one step away from excellence. _________________________ ShockWolF - Author of Wulverheim

I do just some research work and they may find there way in our PW for our own tradeskill system.
But there is one drawback.
I have the feeling that the 2da files is not correct.
I just compred the xp1 version with your file and there is a huge range with an diffrent index.
Take a loot at ID 278++
Your ID 278 is id 277 in the original file.
This errors goes from id 277 up to 1832
This is maybe the bug that you posted at 10/17/07.
Has Obsidian fixed the bug in the meantime and your version is still containing it ?
these are great, just what I was looking for, although I'm having problems with it and MOTB. I also can't get it to work with Heed's fishing. i get green and red checkered icons that say "missing texture".

I found a BUG in the hak. It appears that OE skips rows 277 and 808 in there nwn2_icons.2da file. The tool I used to create my version automatically renumbered the rows, which causes problems when upgrading to the next version. I will have an updated version of the wstg_icon_pack out within the next 24 hours. The updated version will skip the same rows that OE did so images will match from version to version. Sorry for the inconvience, but how was I to know that OE can't count straight? _________________________ Peace,

Some of these icons are a bit too "realistic" but I think most of them are in the nwn2 design.
More than 300 icons ! Wooow !

@Alaster Wolf
Make sure the hak is in the hak folder in your NWN install directory.
Start the Toolset and open your module (or start a new one).
View Module Properties and set this hak as one of the module haks.
That's it - you should be good to go.
Remember, for players to see the icons, they need to have this hak in their My Documents\Neverwinter Nights\hak folder.

Very nice set of icons. But, how do I use them in the toolset? I tried placing hak in the "hak" folder, but I still don't get new icons when editing items. It's not that I need to tinker with some "2da" files or something?
