NWN2 includes a large number of NPC heads, which arent ordinarily usable by PCs. This override package makes those heads selectable during character creation. All of the models and designs are Obsidians; I just used RunnerDucks MDB cloner to make them playable. I tried to select model numbers that dont conflict with any existing custom heads here on the vault, but it seems the character selection screen only recognizes a limited number of heads, so some conflicts may crop up.
This pack adds: 2 male dwarf heads, 1 female drow head, 3 female elf heads, 2 male elf heads, 2 female half-elf heads, 1 male gnome head, 12 human female heads, and 28 human male heads. Some notes on using these heads:
1. Most of them dont have tintable skin. If you are playing with any kind of nude or semi-nude hak, youll want to select a skin color that gives a good match between the skin and the head. Ive indicated below which are tintable, but it should be pretty obvious in character creation.
2. Many of them have hair built in, so youll want to select the bald hairstyle for these. A few of the heads that are bald by design seem to work with some or all of the Obsidian hairstyles. The last few human female heads are bald by design and have bad clipping problems with all of Obsidians hairstyles, but a couple of Whatbricks custom hairstyles seem to work nicely with them. You can find those hairstyles here: Link
3. I havent tested extensively, but Im pretty sure most of the heads will have some clipping issues when your character is wearing a helmet.
Looks great, but I can't seem to get these heads to work when in character creation. I placed the files in the override folder but that has not done anything.

Excellent work. But there seems to be a problem with the male head no. 75. The eyeballs are clipping when the character is blinking.

Thank you - really! I am so happy - you can't imagine how >:D (finally can play with Daeghun!) 10pts for you and big thumbs up!

I know it isn't your fault that Obsidian's implementation of the NPC heads forces your creation to be imperfect, so I apologize in advance having to vote no higher than an 8.75 ("Excellent, Recommended to Anyone") per the Voting Standards (shame on players voting over 9!). I love anything that lets PCs be more customizable, so it really is a shame that Obsidian failed to make this more accessible to content developers. Any sort of plug-in system would have been very welcome, I think. I mean the POINT of an RPG is customization, right? Anyhow, solid work, Chimneyfish. It's just not "Genuinely Groundbreaking" and Obsidian's poor implementation makes this one not "a Must Have". But it's damn close, so I had to vote 8.75. I'll be using it for certain.

darthsabe: unfortunately, I tested it out and Torio's head doesn't fit real well on most of the PC bodies.

I would love to see a Torio Claven head as PC head!

This is great, so much better than the original NWN2 heads. Something should really be done about them. Thanks for such an awesome contribution!

I really like this - I love having custom content to increase the choices I have when creating a character, especially as so many oft he official heads are so ugly! I always ended up using the same one each time. Does anyone know if there are any good "idiots guide" type tutorials for newbies to design new heads / hair as I would like to make my own as well? _________________________ If the human brain was so simple we could understand it, we'd be so simple we couldn't
10 - A Masterpiece, Genuinely Groundbreaking 9 - Outstanding, a Must Have 8 - Excellent, Recommended to Anyone 7 - Very Good, Deserves a Look 6 - Good, Qualified Recommendation 5 - Fair, Solid yet Unremarkable 4 - Some Merit, Requires Improvements 3 - Poor Execution, Potential Unrealized 2 - Very Little Appeal 1 - Not Recommended to Anyone
