My attempt at the ninja core class, adapted slightly to fit the nwn2 standards. Note this is an override. To be placed in the override folder.
Updates:
11/29/06
- fixed an oversight with available feats.
- cleaned up feat list.
- changed class ability names.
- added invisibilty progression
- removed self concealment in favor of etheral jaunt.
- added ghostly visage progression.
- changed see invisibility to true seeing.
- altered alot of the text to final.
- added the file packaged with the hexblade core class.
You need to write a script. It's not possible otherwise as the MonkACBonus feat check for monk lvls and as you have no lvls in monk you dont get the AC bonus.
hey Mattmart, i was wondering if u could help me make some classes for a module im making. let me know if ur interested in helping me out, thanks!

it wasnt the ninja that fell short...infact your ninja and a post in the ideas section cause me to create my own custom class :the samurai...its the hexblade that fell short...at lvl 4 i dint get spell casting, and i felt that there were too amny curses...from what i read about hexblade in the DnD maual there only seems to be one curse?_? maybe you were using another hexblade?_? i like your ninja...only the wisdom bonus wasnt showing up on my AC...
Hexblade has no mode...it is not currently possible for custom classes from what i can see...
besides editing issues(it is not v1.0 yet), what specifically fell short for you on the ninja?

hmmm..i had great expectations for this more for the hexblade...hmmm it fell short though
most of it was just minor stuff...Btw on the information menu, when ur choosing your class, there are place in the discreption , where you still left off bits of the old copied stuff. Like in the ninjas description, rouge and monk keep poping up...i know this is minor but it makes a diff^^i vote 8 for effort. Individually, id vote the ninja a 7 and the hex blade a 5(quite a bit missing, like is there a mode?it seems different from the 3.5 hexblade...maybe its just me... but for a being a genius to come up with this idea and for insipring me to make my own class its a 9^^. BTW how do you make custom spells?
the tlk file should be in My docs\Neverwinter Nights 2...
doesnt need to be in the tlk directory...
everything else should be in override...
if its not showing up at all (no Bad Stref showing up)...then that means that the Classes.2da isnt where its supposed to be or isnt loading properly...
if you go into the override directory you can use Excel to open the classes.2da file and make sure there is a reference to the Ninja class...
if not...download the file again because you've overwritten the classes.2da file (possibly with another hak)...
if there is then...i dont know what the issue is...
Well I did everything you said to do. I put all of it in the override folder (except the dialog.tlk I put that in the tlk folder) and still nothing appears for me to choose it as a class. Did I do something wrong? Is there more than one override folder? If there Is mine is in the my docs one. Please help.
If you would note Rowne, I have assembled the Hexblade class as well. In addition, I hope to add the Chaos Gnome and Whisper Gnome races (you may remember them from RoS). All thats left is to work out the description text. And I may be toying around with other class ideas as well.
Biggest obsticle though is spellcasting, It doesnt seem to work well through normal means. May take some hard core scripting before i can get any spellcasting classes done.

This isn't a class I'd play but from the comments and my own poking around the files, it seems incredibly well put together. For that and the idea you wholly deserve a 9 and nothing less and I certainly hope we'll see your work on other classes in the future.
One of the most entertaining aspects about Neverwinter Nights (and now 2) was the nature of the extendibility and that via an override, there was very, very little that one couldn't add.
And seeing such a successful class put together here I simply have to ask; any plans for any other future classes? Though I'd understand if this one is a big enough project in and of itself.
I allready tried that. Tried it at level 1, level 0, and level -1. It shows up, but just isnt functional. Im thinking its turning up an error because its looking for monk levels(?) I noticed alot of the abilities that scale up in levels dont work for custom classes.
