Changes
--------
spells.2da:
-Added empty rows from row 1697 to row 1821
-Added 12 new rows for the subradials(rows 1822-1833)
-Added Entries in columns SubRadSpell1, SubRadSpell2 and SubRadSpell3 in rows 41, 67,
94 and 122 so they point to the aforementioned subradials
Hmm about the AI: If I had to guess, I'd say it stays the same because the original entries in the spells.2da still point to the same scripts. As far as I know, the AI casts spells by spellid(which corresponds to row number in spells.2da). So I guess it should be the same.
You people have some really good ideas =).
So now there is only a spells.2da and no dialog.tlk anymore.
I've also added a new version for Reeron's latest release.
@sgt_why: Unfortunately, I have no idea how this affects the AI. Maybe one of the more experienced modders can say something about that?
Yes there is:
"Hostile" entry is at 7373,
"Friendly" at 6423 and
"Area" at 6425 in original dialog.tlk.
So instead of using 3300-3311 values in spells.2da Name column, you could make tlk free version, that will, for example, instead of "Greater Dispel Magic (Single, Hostile)" have more generic label "Hostile", etc...
Isn't there a way to use existing .tlk entries like 'Area', 'Friendly' and 'Hostile' to suit your purpose, and thus free us from having to deal with a custom tlk??
Perfect!! This should be a permanent BUG FIX --- since NWN2 release I've constantly noticed this problem and wished there was a better solution than just turning OFF/not memorizing dispel magic.
Because my Companions kept dispelling all the partys "buffs".
How does this affect creature AI when they try to cast the spell -- does it now default to "1 target" instead of "AoE" ? _________________________ the Red Hand of Doom campaign .. Click Here
