Don't worry about the 2da lines issue, I have my own lines (not the ones on the wiki) and I create my own blueprints also, then no problem with that here.
Steps 1,2,3,4, and 7 done. If people are going to be editing the 2da, then copying the lines in the included 2da shouldn't be too hard, and this won't be available for non-MotB unless I get a large outcry for it.
