This is a demonstration of having turned various placeables (& a certain creature) into spell projectiles that could be used in numerous inventive ways in modules.
The demo mod will demonstrate 4 different ballista objects - a cow, an explosive barrel, a crate, and a shiny red ball. You will activate them with 4 wands. See read-me for further info or issues if needed.
The zip folder contains a few custom .sef & vfx files, a customized spell.2da and a demo module.
Put the .mod file into your module folder, and the rest into your override folder to test it out.

This is a great system that you have created. I am working on a set of scripts to allow gaints to throw boulders and this one the the missing parts I needed.
For my project I was hoping to avoid editing 2das to avoid conflict with other custom content. Have you been able to apply the flying placable going from the thrower to the target without the spell.2da?

littlebaron, i've been examining this for something I need for the mod I'm working on... and I have a question: Do you have any idea why the objects spin in circles? I've tried various projectile types (loworbit, accelerating, ballistic), and messed with a variety of things, but I can't stop them from rotating (sometimes at extremly high velocity) while they fly through the air. Any ideas?
Could this be used as an on-used script for a placeable (say, a catapult)?

lol Really nice, I'll try how chairs and other placeables work with that.

I think this is really nice since I think you could make it into a feat that would allow boulder throwing and such. Very cool and potentially very useful. _________________________ Baldur's Gate: The Sword Coast Chronicles
