The concept behind Pocket tilesets is to make smaller tilesets, with the same level of detail (if not more) as our larger sets but to provide the basic tiles needed to create a good cross section of areas. the advantage of this is we can work alot quicker because many of the basic tiles are simply varations of a type. We can produce these sets rather quickly and release them as such.
NEW UPDATE 11/22/08:
STORM OF ZEHIR COMPATIBLE 2DA'S LOADED:
note: due to some 2da issues with other RWS content and the new expansion, these 2da's may effect any mods you have made with previous versions of Pocket cathedrals, tiles & metatiles are unchanged.
Permitted use:
This product is free for non-commercial usage in neverwinternights 2 only. original content remains the property of Robinson Workshop original content donated to this set remain the property of their creators.
NEW UPDATE 10/28/08:
I was gifted some new tiles created by Sceer of the Tales of Moonsea Persitant World. He offered those tiles for a Cathedral expansion, in addition another community member requested an open floor tile, so while I was at it I added that as well.
This expansion incorporates a few new placeables and about 6 new tiles.
1.There are 2 tiles with no icon in this set they are navs and navc both tiles are the tallest tiles in the set and they are for the Nave of your cathedral navs is a straight piece and navc is an inside corner piece
2..Metatile Entry...is the main entry tile it uses an interior double door any interior double door will work in this opening.
3.Metatile Architrave.... modeled actually after the choir section you find in many cathedrals it is identified by the two arched colonnades at the edge of the tile
4.metatile Apse.. a 2x2 tile used at the intersection of two Naves as it were...btw I know my nomenclature of a cathedral isnt quite accurate. This tile has a domed ceiling.
NOTE THIS POINT: this tile displays the 6 sided die in the toolset however I've been unable to get that to appear in game..I've released it anyway but will update once that is fixed.
UPDATED 3/27/08:
Two new tiles added - Navc 02 and Navs 02 to permit nave sections without the bordering areas.
Instructions:
Uncompress the various rar files and place them as follows:
rws_cathedrals.hak = place this file in your "C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_LOGIN_NAME\My Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\hak" folder
rws_cathedrals_2da.hak = place this file in your "C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_LOGIN_NAME\My Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\hak" folder
various 2da files = these files are also located in the rws_cathedrals_2da.hak... the loose 2da files are for builders only, players do not need these loose files - these files are placed in your "C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_LOGIN_NAME\My Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\override" folder
Cathedral.mod goes into the place you save your mods if you want to take a look at the kind of stuff that can be done with the set.
Dont forget to associate the hak with any modules you may be building by: (excerpted from Heeds Article at Link )
"Opening your mod in the toolset and go to View --> Module Properties. In the properties tab you will see a listing for hakpaks. Click on it. A new window will open. Click the Add button and a new entry will appear on the top right. Click where it says FileName, navigate to your C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_LOGIN_NAME\My Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\hak folder and choose your hakpak. Press OK, save your module and you're done."
This archive contains the new 2da hak for Pocket cathedrals as well as the loose 2da's required for builders for compatibility with the new expansion Storm of Zehir
UPDATE: 12/30/08 due to an error in Obsidians placeables.2da file that I didnt catch, this fixes any 2da issues with using the pocket cathedrals with SoZ content above line 2534 in the 2da
This file is for the Autodownloaders use, it is just the main hak no 2da files - this file contains nothing that doesnt exist in one of the other rar files.

Amazing, I found this in the skullhak and I've used it in almost every module I've made since. A real beauty.

I can't find the hak in the toolset when I try to add it to an existing module. I can find the other rws pocket haks, for instance rws_pocket_all_in_one, but the cathedral is absent. I even added the 2da files to the override folder. Maybe you have some ideas that could help me borrow from your fine work.

Yet another great tileset.
One suggestion: Could corner tile (Hall_corner(inside)) have few variations, so you could decide which side the windows are or have them on both sides.

Anyhows, those placeables weren't that important...your great new tiles etc were tho! :D _________________________ From someone who is starting to feel like an Ent among saplings when playing computer-based D&D games...
@indira
I'm sorry, please try creating new blueprints and not using the erf., its entirely possible i moved the 2da entries after exporting the erfs...I coulda swore i redid the erfs but my hard drive is a tad cluttered and i might have placed the wrong erf package in the package...

Wow! Once again a superb tileset just begging to be used over and over! Thanks for this! :D
I have now worked with this tileset like a day now and everything behaves as promised, even the double door. One minor glitch tho, and this concenrs the three placeables one erfs into the TS; they simply won't work. I get like 20 popup windows complaining about bad String, Comparsing bla bla bla. I've tried all 3 of them, same thing. I've tried without 2da-lines, and just the erfs, no go! I have tried having the placeables.2da with the new lines in override as well as added into a hak, still near-crash-mod scare once again! This is a tad sad, as I would have loved to have checked out the placeables as well... _________________________ From someone who is starting to feel like an Ent among saplings when playing computer-based D&D games...
@seraphsimage1...like all our tilesets it was indeed done through 3dsmax

This is truly masterful work it breaks through fields I never before were thought achievable in the NWN2 toolset. I am curious on how you achieved this but I assume it was through 3dsMax or similar programs if more information can be given I would appreciate. Anyways this is the greatest work I seen from all your stunning tilesets and I look forward in anticipation for your next project. _________________________ My Website: Link
