First and foremost,id like to give thanks to Barrel of Monkeys and Runner Duck for their help in better understanding normal maps and their specular properties in alpha channel, allowing me to perfect the metal look,as well as sharper details on the models.
Now as to what we have here:
a set of 16 tintable hand axe models:
-all models under 250 faces (check catalog screenshot for individual polycounts.
-all textures are at an optimized rate of 512x512
-one override and one hakpack version,so as to suit your fancy.
-Design choices going from the historical no-nonsense to the elegant and fancyfull fantasy designs to the downright nasty. oh and a Meat Cleaver.
As per usual, users are encouraged to download, use, provide *constructive* criticism and Vote.

"Do not include in a compilation or otherwise provide a modification of this content without getting my aproval."
Do you mean that I need your aproval to download this, renumber the items so they don't collide with my other items, include it in my module's haks and provide it to the players of my module? _________________________ Reino de Aldor

I truly admire your ability to craft so much detail into these with a very modest polygon count. You've also struck a great balance between the unique and simple designs. My favorite is the stone axe, and with the low poly count, I won't feel ashamed arming a whole tribe of primitive orcs with the best neolithic technology has to offer!
Guess i need one more vote for another notch in my HoF belt.
I see youre still around, mwmdragon. working on anything new?

Ok...my previous comment was a bit lame. Asking for help without giving any info.
I'm running MotB fully patched. I am trying to use this pak and the clubs pak in the original campaign with no luck. I've tried installing the files in the appropriate /mydocsNWN2 folders and in the /programfiles NWN2 directory. I've tried this with both the override and hak versions.
Again, any help would be appreciated.

Sadly, I am not familiar with 3d gfx. Yet.
Only 2d.
I think cloning would preserve a sense of style and consistency.
One problem with item haks is, models are usually picked from several different sources, and consistency suffers.
Besides, I am a bit of a weapon fan myself - like most fantasy RPG fans I guess - and some axe heads and shafts would be more suited to full size battle axes and halbers.
Shorter axes had less of a need for a read fluke, and sometimes they were also shaped for thrusting, with a forward-jutting blade head.
I hope you'll check with other modellers: I am fairly sure you could modify textures and UV maps without jeopardising final quality.
After all, you could re-release you existing packs as "All-Axes", "All-Bludgeons" hak and so on.
Also, axes, hammers and maces tend to share a similar shaft shape and structure, so if you were to pick the traditional three-part way for complex models, you could merge and share the same shafts over a broader range of models.
...
No pressure.
Just a few ideas from somebody who likes "medieval" item haks and would like to see more from you.
