Some signs appear with out any text and I trust that the image alone is easy enough to recognise the trade/merchant type by. Some signs have generic trade names like "Baker" and finally some are named establishments such as "The Foaming Flagon".
As of v1.1 wall mounted signs are added. These have been generally created to match with the hanging signs - i.e. there is a "Foaming Flagon" hanging sign and a matching "Foaming Flagon" wall mounted sign.
Once you import the ERF, all the items can be found under "02 - Manmade Props -> Signs" in the toolset
This is currently a work in progress and I have every intention of adding to the signs here. If you would like to see certain sins added then please let me know and I will see if I can't add it for you.
As a final note I would like to see this included in at least one of the compilation haks out there as its not going to prosper on its own - a module where the only custom content is a hundred odd signs would only appeal to the very specialist market!
This is my first Hak and fist submission. I hope that this sort of thing is actually wanted by you the community.

Still to Do:
------------
Start adding main panel tinting to the wall mounted signs.
Get different shaped boards to add variety of shape to the signs.
Release notes
-------------
02/03/2008 Initial release of 93 signs
06/03/2008 Added over 20 new hanging signs and over 50 wall mounted signs
Sorted out descriptions as they appear in the toolset.
As you can see, it looks as tho you inserted your line instead of replacing it when you did the placeables.2da and it's causing some issues..
That's a lot of signs to have to edit :)
My only other problem with them is that I would prefer they all be generic.. but that's just personal opinion. It makes it difficult to have a variety of signs for MY mod when the majority of them have YOUR supplied names :)
Beautiful look to them however, so I rated you an 8 for the time being. Hope you can get the 2da problem fixed.

Amazing texture work. They really look like theyve been painted on wood.
Puychaudko - did you sort out your issues and get this working or are you still having issues?

Impressive - I will definitely use them in my mods - thanks for all the hard work.

These look great but I am having difficulty in using them in a mod. They appear in the placeables in the toolset, but when I actually place a sign in an area it does not appear on the screen, making selection and positioning of the signs impossible. I have imported the erf, and tried placing the hak both in the module hak file and in the NWN2 hak folder, but they still do not appear - what am I doing wrong?
*Laughs* Crystal - I barely know what a model is let alone know how to find its polygon count!
I confess all I have done here is slapped a few new textures on another's hard work.
That said I see no reason why the polygon count should be so high. If its recommended I move to simpler models with a lower count i will if I can get the models.
incidentally version two will be out later today and now has over 120 hanging signs plus it also has 55 large wall mounted signs.
I had a closer look at the models you use in this pack... Do you realize those signs are 810 polygons each and don't even have LODs? And the small chains links are 588 polygons of that!
While that's not so extreme to make them unusable in NWN2 (after all, you won't be using that many signs in one area), it's wasting performance on something very small.
Definitely Crystal Violet. Let me know when you have some thing for me to work with and I will do what my limited abilities permit.

These are really a great addition! They look incredible! I can't wait to use them in a mod. It is the little things, after all, that make a mod look unique. _________________________ Failure is not an option

I've got some good news, too. With The fixes Tupoun included, in his latest City HAK set, I was finally able to get the chain textures fixed for the signs in the latest version (v1.6) of my placables compilation. One thing I like about these style merchant signs is that they add a quaint realism to the time period of the game that just feels medieval. :)

These reskins are excellent! I'm a fan of Tupoun's originals, and these are a good extension of that masterful work.

Hey that's a nice collection of signs, i think you have covered most types of merchants.
I could try to make the signs for you but i will need a concept/reference image to make sure i get the right look.
Incidentally, if there are any kind hearted modellers out there who would like to aid me by creating some different shaped boards I would be most grateful.
I am looking especially for elliptical, round & shield shaped boards. I confess modelling is a closed book to me and I have no idea how difficult these would be to produce.
