This adds one new head for all the elf races except the Wild elf. I've left them out as the clipping was horrible. To install simply extract the files into your overide folder. My files overwrite head nr 43 in this headpack; Link
My mod is completely incompatible with that head, all other heads by Briesence work fine though. This is due to the fact that I used the exact same filenames, my knowledge of the NWN2 filesystem is very limited and this was the only way I could get it to work.
Is this compatible with just the base game? Or only MotB?

Good work. I picked up a couple of these (forgot which ones) for use in my PW. _________________________ Co-founder of the PW (open beta) Sea of Dragons. It is a quest-heavy (yet has sandbox elements) role-play server geared towards party adventures for mid level characters.
Nice textures - I like em a bit better than the original.
I agree that it has a cross-eyed look. Briesence's model looks cross-eyed as well and this doesn't really help with that.
BTW, there really should be a database for each model part (e.g. head, hair) that would keep track of the model number used. That would help with model number conflicts. The Vault is currently abysmal in this regard: there are models all over the place in different categories (i.e. the models section, the hakpak section, and the other section) and its search feature doesn't span across categories. I don't know why the Vault decided to categorize files this way - it should simply be a database that can be searched/sorted according to non-disjoint non-hierarchical categories, e.g. it should be possible to easily search for head models, regardless of whether its in a hak or not.
@Allvaldr stfu. If someone uses my work without my permission I have a right to be unhappy about it. The fact that you're too stupid to understand that speaks volumes about your lack of intelligence.
Nice going with the texture work, hope to see more of you...you really should partner up with someone who can show you the ropes and feed you some models...bet you could get a lot more done.

Very nice. One of the best heads I've seen.
And don't worry about people being cranky. Many NWN2 modders have a big stick up their arse and tend to get way too hostile to new modders.

I wasn't trying to berate you, btw. maybe it didn't work due to some conflict with the other overrides i'm using. I'll strip the other heads out so it'll be the only custom then i'll probably notice. thanks.

Hey Miss O great texturing. Nice work, please do more.
Briesence - My intent was not to anger you and If I have done so I apologize. I am a newbie to the NWN community and as I mentioned my understanding of the file system is limited. I have in the past done several retextures for the elderscrolls Oblivion, all which were released as resources and that was my main intent with this one. I suck as a modder but have some experience with digital painting. At first I intended to only release my textures and altered normal maps in BMP format. However I felt I wanted to make them usable for the casual player as well. Once again I apologize and will edit my post to remove the files that overwrite yours and simply leave the textures, if that is your wish. If you are offering to help explain how it works for me, I'd gladly take you up on your offer. Once again I'd like to apologize.
willenzor; The differences are subtle but most certainly there. I did this originally for my own character and repainted her whole texture and did heavy alterations to her normal map. All which didn't look to good in game, although the texture itself was pretty. So I had to restrict my alterations heavily to actually make it work on my in game character. On the final texture everything has been smoothed out, including the normal map. The lips on the texture are repainted from scratch. Also I have done color adjustments so that the new heads would work seamlessly with the races. All in all it's subtle differences but once that are to my preference.
Fuyuko; Thank you! :D Sorry I don't do half elves (never play them myself). This was drow-only to begin with but I wanted to expand it a bit.

Wow! Love it. Too bad no new heads for half-elves. They seriously need some new faces. great. I'll be sure to dl
Having had a few minutes to cool down I do hope you contact me to learn how to edit the files to use a unique number. It looks like you used the n map (normal map) that Eressil made and created a new texture to go on top of it. You actually did some nice work but you'll be more popular with cranky custom content authors if you don't overwrite their work.
It looks like this uses one of Eressil's textures with my head 43. It's not the only way to get it to work and if the person had bothered to contact me I would have explained how to edit the .mdb file to use a different number.
