Pre-Update to address some minor fixes, not without tweaks of course ; ) Major changes to Scoundrel, Magix, Travelers. Balanced several variations. Did not update Q or the Hex Me at this point, will when I add content from the next update. A quick note, lots of changes all fast like render me memory loss, but you surprises! No there good ones I promise, just look at it from over here.
This is a simple mod. It's substance is in it's simpleness, adding the unique 'feel' without the disconnected mind. They all use the default NWN2:MotB blueprints, and all Armor variants are cloth according to game rules. This way, any class can integrate them as the mood takes you. Obsidian, Atari, Wizards of the Coast have made a incredible Toolkit that has given shape to this mod through and through. Thanks for the hard work!
I have made Q. Q is a reference for everything this mod has, in-game. Now you don't have to do or remember anything other than checking with Q for the file I.D.
I update from time to time with new stuff, and am open to hear requests or comments. I make mistakes, so if you notice something irregular, ask about it here. All will be included in the following update. Or edit anything in the Toolset.
Lastly, there is a link to the NWN2 User Screenshots area where I've posted several pics of this content. You may find it a good reference, or fun to look at =)
The link is in the Forum bar, just above the description for this mod.
So enjoi, immerse, and do with these as you see fit!

The HexMe will explain everything you need to know. It's got the install from how I did it all. All credit goes to the teams of men and women who put together the awesome game, Neverwinter Nights, and it's long lasting saga. Not to mention to awesome Toolkit they designed that made all this possible. Special thanks to the talented designers here at the Vault that creatively give old concepts new frontiers, inspiring others along the way. I have credited any mods directly that could be present in some files. Please notify me if I have overlooked your work and that you would like to be credited. Brown nosing is out of the question, except for the game gods of the afore mentioned here.

What this you're doing? Why are you concerned with irrelevance? Stop and go play NWN2. NO! Fine. Just continuing anyway? Ok, get ready though since it's already in your system and you may be unfamiliar with it's side effects, or it by its street slang ,'a hex', which has effects often neutral or neurologically relevant, often with a residue of uncertain conclusions drawn from ambiguous concepts given relevance only through it's familiarity to clear concepts or themes. It's a splurge by excretion (a thing I will delete soon I'm sure due to a stench of frustration only imperfection can lend with time), a direct result of ingested information of various kinds mixing over a period of time that forces their sudden projecting onto random objects where I find purpose or relevance in course of my writing. This is a sort of mental puke I had and can read much like it sounds, SPLURGE - ly. Or to some, SPLURGE - ilishious with hint of refreshing mint and euphoria. It continues to survive poaching because of board readers like you and by free accounts international, a free pallet of expression sometimes left by amused admins. Poaching a Splurge may result in nothing, but will have a DIRECT effect on the content of the overall page it was found on. Save the Splurges!)
They have bigger sticks and humble tread for a sneak attack and move silent bonus that no dollar amount negates, nor a high reflex save lawyer dodges. Besides, they use magic. Who else can control us for nameless amount of time in their imagination? Only magic folk that who, and they have pick pocket bonuses you may not yet be aware of, so you better polish that nose for a little extra lovin' or it's *smack* with magic sword that hits with a random critical range of Delayed Release Dates with a unbalanced base attack of 50 bucks(Look out for the collectors edition, it may hit for 60+!!!) and is known in all tongues as the infamous, Sequel. Yeah, it doesn't miss either since they enhanced it with their magic, addiction or something they call it, I don't know how to translate their ancient tongues, only known mysteriously as cryptic 'Marketing Science.' They say a kid found an ancient tome in the bellows of an abandoned library, called a 'book' , in the tongue of that people. It's only rumor since he's suddenly 'disappeared', but supposedly it was titled "So you pay to much for Videogames?" and gave any whom just kept it in their inventory +50 INT ! Skills like Patience and Temperance were supposedly also granted, but there was no references to what these skills 'do', if they 'do' anything. I don't believe in books personally, just the game gods. They have magic swords, fairy tales have cute morals with a hard throw of relativity. Catch all that? Splurged myself.

One of my favorite armor sets. Terrific work on the details of the armor. Visually, quite appealing. Although not an entirely appealing set for female characters, the male characters look sharp in your wardrobe!

And to those whom dont believe in Hex's, don't believe in death. It would only worry you. Especially, if you were intelligent enough to consider true evil. Good Luck! _________________________ Simper Fidelis.
At last, Hexidous has returned. haha, I forgot my password so I couldn't use my old account. I will be shipping off to Recruit Training at Parris Island tommarrow. Before I leave, I certainly wanted to tie up lose ends here.
Without the drama story, alots gone on. Plain and simple, life. So, I've been unable to commit myself to this work any further. Have I had time? Sure. Have I had OCD time? No. So, I can't do this without the time needed, anymore. Most unfortunate.
My dear macrocarl, forgive me. I've designed all you've requested. However, I am unable to post. But know my friend, I did complete this work.
Lastly, I will thank the individuals whom voted for my work. I believed in my work, and thank you for believing it worthy of a 10. I hex the ones who pilfer it without words or votes. But, such is life I suppose.
My friends, I bid you farewell, as does Q. Enjoi this work to your hearts pleasure. But above all, enjoi life.

That's good news indeed! Looking forward to more of your work Hex. ;-)
Thanks Marco. As always, you have given me reason to continue my work. I promise with true fidelity to give a product most pleasing to both you, and hopefully this community. Thank you for your kind words and encouragement, I will hopefully have a computer (not my fathers) that I can again unleash the power of splurge. Marco, a master awaits, I promise. Thanks to you all. Hex! Hope you're still alive and kickin'! Just popped over to the vault after a while off from NWN2 and just wanted to say sup and I still can't wait to see what you cook up for the swash duds :)
Later,

Thanks Atom, thats what it is all about. Good luck to you! _________________________ Societies monomania of sanity is a plethra of madness in the mind of the miserable, but a manifested magnificence in the eyes of the mad.
An update to the faithful. I will be shipping my laptop off to be repaired in the next day or two, ultimately to be without it for a week+. How I will survive this 'Dark Age', is uncertain. I have talented scientists researching possible alternatives that will 'wean me off', as they say it. Videogames are the only solution, but 'console' games may have to entertain, temporarily, untill I can get what my warranty guarantees. Everlast new plastic smell...
Thanks for all the support, encouragement, votes, feedback, and creative inspiration you give. I will return, after huffing the plastic smell for a day or two, with a new tool capable of handling what new insights will decorate this page and our games. Peace. _________________________ Societies monomania of sanity is a plethra of madness in the mind of the miserable, but a manifested magnificence in the eyes of the mad.

awesome stuff Hex, been using it in my games for a while now. You even encouraged me to learn the toolset and make some of my own armors! (just uploaded my first mod). Looking forward to all your future work.

I got a brain splurge after reading all that above. :-)))) (hahaha)
If I did something ridiculous, like not update those files, or balances are missing, or files are duplicating, I dunno anything please let me know when its as soon as possible for you so I can get the hesitation over with and fix it. Hesitation isn't bad ya know, it just needs enough defining to obscure the motive, either enough to intimidate the listener into silence or key on emotions that lead them into passive aggressive behavior. Still splurgitating everywhere, sorry. Thanks for the help in making this maybe better for everyone with that feedback, or any you decided to contribute. _________________________ Societies monomania of sanity is a plethra of madness in the mind of the miserable, but a manifested magnificence in the eyes of the mad.
Love the name, helvagova. I can't stop saying it out loud real slow to make sure I pronounce it right. Not that it's hard, I'm just a nerd for words. Mean anything in particular? Yes I certainly can make a Hak version. To be honest, it's sorta flattering really. Like my ego's got me all over myself again. Warm and tingly like acid rain. I'd thought about doing that a while ago, ironically, but lost that thought somewhere with my car keys not long afterwards. It happens all the time though, like every time I hang them in the same place next to the door when I come home. But just can't bring myself to that memory either when I need it, probably because I never made one in my absent minded ritual to avoid that sort of thing. I usually just keep them with me now that I've got piercings. No not really, but sounds like something I'd do. Anyway I'll put that on my to do right nipple chain with the house key. Kudos on the vote. _________________________ Societies monomania of sanity is a plethra of madness in the mind of the miserable, but a manifested magnificence in the eyes of the mad.

Hi Hex,
Now you see what I meant about some of your ZQ armors being a little over powered for the original OC. Not a big problem though. Depends on what type of game you want to play. For the original OC I use your "hex" versions and add my own stuff to them with the crafting benches. ;-) If you wanted to give your "Hex" versions base AC that would be fine by me. As to your ZQ items I have not a clue as to what you would do with them. I would make them as you think they should be. ;-) There fine just the way they are. There just a little potent to early.
And I am personally not worried about crafting slots.
I guess I am not much help. ;-)

Would it be possible you could make a hakpak out of this?
*For anyone unaware, you can tell if I've updated anything but hovering your mouse over the main file, or by reference in the Original Hakfiles selection screen. _________________________ Societies monomania of sanity is a plethra of madness in the mind of the miserable, but a manifested magnificence in the eyes of the mad.
Sorry about the computer problems, those can be real headaches I know.
I did get your email Carl, sorry for not writing back. I've been playing catch up in College lately that's taken up most of my free time. What free I do have I try to sleep. The life of a rockstar can be quite demanding, what can I say. This next week is a grind week too, but I promise to give this more attention when things slow down a bit. I do think I have a 'feel' for what your looking for. It will be done before I begin work on the overall content of the next update.
Marlboro Man, I'm glad to hear it wasn't what you thought, but ironically I've found several things that need correcting matching your description quite well. For example, Nox doesn't have an unenhanced version. Theres a couple others that were 'O shiat' s for me, but the next update is gonna put a band-aid on all that. More so, the next update is going to 'tame' all the enhanced versions to just A.C. buffs, minus one or two for the Lore items. I've been playing MotB for a while now , but when I started a new build in the O.C. I realized I can't honestly use the enhanced version without killing the game until much later. The unenhanced variations don't have ANY A.C. bonus since their all cloth by default, thus by default its useless unless you're deep into the crafting elements of the game. Most builds are average or not at all adept there, and rely on NPCs for most enchantments. I dunno, I feel like it's about as practical as a scary stand up cardboard poster... trying to block fireballs... except without the resistance cardboard has to fire... Or to swords... Yeah, pretty ridiculous. I'm gonna give this whole mod a make-over. Is that something you'd like to see, or do you think the enhancements should remain but be toned down? The base A.C. counts for 1 of 3 crafting enhancements already, so to keep the others would eliminate crafting on the enhanced variations, without epic levels of course. Another thought I had was to keep the enhanced versions, tone them down a bit, but make the unenhanced version A.C. bonus only. My only hesitation is it consuming 1 of 3 craft slots... What is your opinion?
As a general note to any whom it may concern, little fixes like spelling and such will be implemented without the announcement of an update. I don't want to leave them until I post the update, and frankly I haven't kept track of all the little things. I just fix it. I will make mention of some changes when I post the update, but truth be had I've done lots of little stuff that won't be referenced. If you notice something wrong, and it's been a few days since you downloaded it, it's possible I've edited it and updated the files. Sorry, but it's a HUGE convience to me, plus it helps speed things along. Of course, the announced update will include most or all fixes. If you notice anything, please post here so I can make note of that. I appreciate it. _________________________ Societies monomania of sanity is a plethra of madness in the mind of the miserable, but a manifested magnificence in the eyes of the mad.

HI Hex, not sure if my last email went through since my computron is fritz'n. Frilly and swashy any old way is cool.... flashy? But no hats though if that's OK. The hat graphic for the swash hats is weird. It's like the character's hair dissapears. Like magic. Like a flowbee.
Thanks again! Psyched to see what you cook up!

Sorry Hex, that was my own fault. I had something batty going on. I downloaded and reinstalled your latest and everything is just fine now. Sorry about that. I think the gods wanted to aggravate me a little bit. ;-)
I didn't find any of the stats duplicating like you mentioned. Could you be more specific? I did get rid of a couple of excess file tags in Hex Files, but no major revisions. What does happen sometimes is when I'm trying to duct tape this mod together for an update, a file will be in a different location than where it was the previous update and files don't get overwritten. Try deleting the old Hex Files, and download again. Let me know if that works. _________________________ Societies monomania of sanity is a plethra of madness in the mind of the miserable, but a manifested magnificence in the eyes of the mad.
Good call on the link. I'll look into the variations immediately and post an update. Thanks for the heads up! _________________________ Societies monomania of sanity is a plethra of madness in the mind of the miserable, but a manifested magnificence in the eyes of the mad.

Not sure exactly how others do there screen shot work. I had assumed you could line 3 or 4 "characters" up like you do now with the single character and take a screen shot. Or maybe there is more worked involved like taking screen shots and scabbing them together in photoshop into 1 image.
As far as updating this page, that's up to you. It is alot of work. But updating new stuff here would be good. And you might put a link in your discription area pointing to the User's Screen Shot area you have done. ;-)
On another note. I noticed some of your zq stuff has double attributes in them. I mean some of the things you added to make them more powerful has double entrys of the same. I can't remember exactly which ones now, so you might want to look at them. I have not checked everything since your 1.10 upload, so disregard that if you already made the fixes.
Think so? Yeah, I'll put something together then. I like the update idea too. Be a little more responsibility, but we'll see how it goes. Any suggestions for the initial pack? _________________________ Societies monomania of sanity is a plethra of madness in the mind of the miserable, but a manifested magnificence in the eyes of the mad.
I started a collection of pix in the user screen shots area for NWN2. Best I got to offer currently, but I deleted most of my earlier pics. dang it, but will update it with the eye candy more so than this page. Try to stay.... ProfessionaL.... Focused.... UniforMmm.... here, at the Wardrob'ah.... _________________________ Societies monomania of sanity is a plethra of madness in the mind of the miserable, but a manifested magnificence in the eyes of the mad.
I love the collage idea, do you know how it's done? _________________________ Societies monomania of sanity is a plethra of madness in the mind of the miserable, but a manifested magnificence in the eyes of the mad.

A top 10 sounds good. And you could rotate them around every week or more or whenever you have new stuff to show. It is very time consuming to upload everything here. Though your screen pics are always great to look at. Maybe a collage would be better, like some of the folks do here, showing 4 or 5 outfits or weapons in a row in 1 pic.
I'd like to bounce something off you guys. What do you think about a 'hex pixs'. Like a best of the best, maybe 10 items total. A sampler with one of everything. I don't know if that's even worth the time, but I feel like so much stuff isn't pic'd ya know? Most peeps look at the pics and then decided. I just hate blowin' this page up pics to demo everything. I don't know, any thoughts? _________________________ Societies monomania of sanity is a plethra of madness in the mind of the miserable, but a manifested magnificence in the eyes of the mad.
MC I haven't forgot about ya man! I've got a couple of ideas in the blender for next update. I'll need some feedback on them to know if that's the right version of 'fancy frilly' . Any particular colors you want? Or add ons (like knife/belt, feather hat, etc.) ? Any particulars you would like to see just let me know. _________________________ Societies monomania of sanity is a plethra of madness in the mind of the miserable, but a manifested magnificence in the eyes of the mad.
