A skydome with a black texture intended for use in "exterior dungeons".
You may include this .hak in compilations as long as proper credit is given.
The skydome model is the default NWN2 1.07 skydome.
How to use:
In the Day/Night Stage(most likely Default) skydomemodel property that will be using this skydome type "FX_Skydome_Black", no quotes and no .mdb extension.

Ah, I understand the confusion.
The hak filename "sgk_skydome_black" and "fx_skydome_black" for the actual skydome file is easy to mix up.
Good that you got it working.

Works great for those dragon lairs but could use a little more "how to..". Puts an all new demention to dungeon bulding. _________________________ Murder in Dunlop Fanglewood

Hey SGK73, got it to work, found the problem. The hak in you original download is titled "sgk_skydome_black" and in your mod it's "fx_skydome_black" At first could not get the thing to work even with your setting's, then I changed the title from sgk to fx and it worked great. Just thought you like to know, oh and thanks for all your help and pateince. _________________________ Murder in Dunlop Fanglewood

Strange behaviour as this hak does not replace any .2da files it should work with any other hak. I made this specificaly to get rid of those stars. I'll upload a demo module so you just can copy the settings.

Sorry, can't get it to work, the best I ca get out of it is a dark but star studded night. Did all you said, I have a weapons hak installed as well, I'm thinking maybe that might be the problem. _________________________ Murder in Dunlop Fanglewood

Have you added the .hak to your module properties?
If you are using the Default Day/Night stage you will need to set Evironment.Day/Night Cycle to False or you will use the settings for Daytime as the default module time is 13:00.
The Directional Light can be either on or off as per taste but should be set to a very low brightness and quite desaturated if colored as should the sky/ground light be or you will get odd tints on the top and bottom facing polys.
Directional Light Cast Shadow should most likely be turned off or things will look wierd.
Also Is Always Night should be set so rules for drows and other creatures work right.

Do you have something a little more indepth "how to use" wise. I had no problem installing it but when I tryed it out on a test map all I got was this big Blue funny shaped dome thing, that showed parts of the sky. In short now that I have it installed, what do I do next? Like to creat an exterior/interior, Huge cavern. _________________________ Murder in Dunlop Fanglewood
