Category  Armor
Patch  1.12

Description
--ACME Assault & Hattery(NWN2)

--Version 1.1

--Version History:
8-17-2008 1.1 - Added a separate file with a non-glow mapped glasses VFX set
7-15-2008 1.1 - Fixed some scripting bugs with the dynamic racial VFX naming function.
- Added the "_AA" VFX extensions for halflings.
- Modified ArmorVisualData.2da with the addition of GodBeastX's GBX prefix.
6-30-2008 1.0 - initial release

--Contents:
This package provides new helmet parts and face wear VFX for males and females of all races with styles covering the entire spectrum from sci-fi, to steam punk, to high fantasy.

--How to use:
[override version]
Extract ACME_AH_v10_Override.7z into your MyDocuments NWN2 override directory.

[hak version]
Extract ACME_AH_v10_Hak.7z into your MyDocuments NWN2 hak directory.

The 7z extractor can be downloaded from here: Link

--Modified 2da's included in package
Armorvisualdata.2da

--Parts List (Toolset numbers listed): All Helm parts can be found under the ACME armor type at the end of the armor list.

[Helm]
ACME 0 - Visored helm with chin guard
ACME 1 - Eye patch covering the right eye
ACME 2 - Round frame glasses
ACME 3 - Segmented energy faceplate

Can you make a mask that hides the hair? I wanted to use the mask with the robe of Kelemvor, but hair stands out.

Congratalutions! Your impressive hattery made a very nice addition to my campaign 16 Cygni.

Hello Barrel,

In an entry above you mention the possibility of a 1.2 release with some additional content (especially goggles with no helmet). Did you ever get around doing the update?

Thanks

Posted by casadechrisso at 2009-08-06 22:03:42    Voted 9.00 on 08/06/09
Oh, well.. it's actually the Full Metal Packet that caused it, this package works fine again after removing the other.

Hmm, for some reason I'm getting Out of Memory errors everytime I'm selecting the ACME category for helmets, so the whole package is unuseable for me. Any ideas?

The Howler: I'll see what I can have ready for a 1.2 publish over the weekend. There are some script changes that need to go in as well.

Excellent job. I am using several of your items.

Would it be possible to get Goggles without the helmet?

I am trying to make a Character based on Riddick and helmet part is just not cool for Riddick :-)

Thanks

TheHowler: Confirmed the bug. Now I need to figure out what's going on. Hopefully I can have a fix for it by the middle of next week. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Something weird happens when I equip Silenus to my gnome PC. The PC gets the helm, but Bevil gets the mask. Same thing happens if I give the silenus to another character. It is only if I give the silenus to Bevil that he gets both the helm and the mask. Is this a script problem?

Posted by Barrel of Monkeys at 2009-02-04 16:10:59
rali77: Make sure you only have one copy of ArmorVisualData.2da in your override folder - this includes all the subdirectories. Use the the version that comes from this download. The one from Shirtless Saga 2 is out of date.

Posted by rali77 at 2009-02-01 05:46:20
For some reason I can't get this to work, I have up to patch 1.13 installed and I have MoTB. When I install in override I just have the generic plain wide brimmed hat as the appearance for all the hats. Any ideas why it won't work?

Posted by Barrel of Monkeys at 2009-01-24 13:41:09
yes this is SoZ compatible

Posted by NWN DM at 2009-01-20 19:33:50

Awesome! We use them in Pravita - AND we give you credit!

Hot, easy idea for you: a pipe or two. As in the thing that hobbits stuff pipe-weed into and smoke.

*snuggles*
Eph

p.s. I also failed to "blunt" a tail for my tiger-girl character. I thought I did everything right, and the 3d program was actually really easy to work (Silo) but, in the end, I think the conversion software betrayed me.

*snuggle more*
Eph

I love them!

I'd like to make a suggestion, white-lens as opposed to black-lens goggles would be neat, larger and without the odd but cute hat :)

Awesome work as usual.

Alright, finally cloned them and got it all done, with the Yeoman one as well. Pain in my butt.

However, it was worth it. This is the joint too. Love it. Thanks.

The Hattery 2da is already merged with the Yeoman one, so using this version of the 2da will work with both.

Posted by JosephBlack at 2008-08-18 07:42:53    Voted 9.75 on 08/26/08
Hello Barrel of Monkeys. I was wondering if it's possible to merge the .2da of this contribution with your "Yeoman of the Greenwood" package. I would be happy to learn how do to it myself if you could direct me to a tutorial or something of the like. Thank you.
