Enchantment recipes are found at various points of the Arcane Nexus quest in the Thayan Enclave.
Mithral/Cold Iron/Zalantar/Alch Silver/Darksteel recipes are found in the same stores as the other recipes of the same type.
Bonus Spell rings are found on Tarmas and Aruna in West Harbor.
ACBracers +6/+7/+8 and ResCloak +6 are found at later points of the Arcane Nexus quest in the Thayan Enclave.
YellowRose/LongDeath/FlamingGlove recipes are found in the same stores as the Hin Fist recipes.
Due to the way SoZ updates stores, if you've already triggered
the relevant store update you won't see some of the new recipes.

I really really want the AC+ and Weapon+ enchantments working.
They are working. I fixed, and tested, them in the last update (which was uploaded at the beginning of this month).
As for the recipes not fitting, that's odd since each container should be able to hold 150 items, and I'm pretty sure I did not add enough recipes to go over that limit. When you open up the book and drag the recipe into it, you get a message that the container is full? Sometimes the recipes are simply not automatically added and you have to manually drag them in thee yourself.
Oh, and so you know, your caster does not have to hold the books for crafting in SoZ to work. Anyone can have the spell memorized because the system checks all characters when making the recipe. _________________________ Nemo non Morior Anime Overviews MP3 Player Playlist
I noticed that only the party leader's books collect recipes. Also you cannot transfer the books to another character who might be a better caster. These are not your problems. To get around them, I made my real caster party leader in a scratch game. I then dropped all the recipes and enchantments on my scratch party. I then started passing the recipes around. Instead of actually passing, they ended up in my caster's book. So far so good. The plan was to export her with full books and then use her in a real game. EXCEPT the recipes do not all fit. I really really want the AC+ and Weapon+ enchantments working. For me, base item creation is irrelevant because I'm willing to just drop items on my gals with an editor. ENCHANTED items don't exist to drop on them and fixing an inadequately enchanted item means a long, hair-tearing session with a GFF editor. Oh! First of what month? Sorry, just seeing your comment now. The +4 and above weapon enchantment recipes were technically working, the problem was they were adding an AC bonus instead of an enhancement bonus because I forgot to change the effect variable after copy/pasting the AC bonus recipes. That was fixed in the last update at the beginning of this month.
As for Unlimited Ammo... you'll have to talk to Obsidian about that. The effect codes, for whatever reason, do not work. Quite similar to the Universal Damage Reduction code in fact. It's not a large issue, as most of the items created by the missing recipes (particular adamantine weapons for example) can be bought from certain vendors.

Stupid question, perhaps, but having just acquired SoZ, and not yet played it, what am I going to experience if I DON'T install this hak? Is the system broken, or what?
Somebody really, really needs to add an unlimited ammo recipe or two. I really hate the business of having to stock ammo. So when I start a game, I immediately save and use a character editor to drop one of the extremely limited selection of unlimited ammo weapons on my gal (or gals in the case of SoZ). Even unlimited basic ammo is good, because I frequently play an arcane archer. _________________________ Gorian would be pleased by your actions
To certain extent, this has been a comedy errors. First, my character editor display of various recipe descriptions has little to do with the in-game display. In particular, its display of the required caster level does not agree with the in-game display. However, the in-game display of minimum caster level is also not right. I have not been able to cast any enchantment beyond Weapon+3 or Armor+5 with either a level 23 sorceress, a level 18 favored soul or a level 18 cleric. So far, then, Armor+5 is the only recipe you added that works. The sorceress should have been able to cast everything except the +8 enchantments. _________________________ Gorian would be pleased by your actions
I'm sorry, I was mistaken. The crafting 2DAs are found in the Campaigns/Neverwinter Nights 2 Campaign_X2 folder, not the 2DA_X2.zip file.
If you could, would you mind explaining exactly what part of the Mod is not working? Are the recipes not showing up? Or are they simply not doing anything when you use them? I do have SoZ installed. I do have an NX2_2DA.zip file. It does not have an nx2^.2da files. I am not running 1.22; I am running 1.21.???9 like everyone else. The only anomalies are I upgraded to 1.21.? before installing SoZ and had to upgrade to it again and I have two other haks.
