Heres my first ever custom armor piece (in pretty much any game since Starsiege). It was made by retexturing the Amon Jerro leather armor set (which was a pain due to how its laid out, and the fact that I am really new at this :P ).
As the name implies, this is meant to be an elven armor set. The design was inspired by that of the elven armor in Fellowship of the Ring, though it is not an authentic replica. The original intent for this suit was for use in the PW server Beldin (great place, check it out, its under the Role Playing tab), though I figured Id release it for anyone to use if they so desired. Just let me know if you do end up using this in your own projects.
As this is really a sophomore effort into armor and texture modification, there may still be some oddities, which I will work on in the near future, so an update might be coming in soon.
That said, do let me know what you think and how it can be improved upon.
Thanks to Mimi Fearthegn for helping me format and package the files accordingly.
Best wishes,
Taurus Daggerknight
PS: This does not overrite the Jerro armor. It works for all elves and human sub types, though not orcs and dwarves. Also, it is only available for males currently, though I am looking at changing this...
Also, in case you are curious; the weapons and shields pictured here are from the following awsome packs:
A couple of examples with tints and accessories applied. The skirt and armor tints are don through seperate channels, but the sash can only be brightened or darekend based on the armor's tint.
Really like this armour you have done here, and especially how well it combines with that chain helm.
I can't help but notice you have added a sheathed dagger, but it doesn't appear to be textured (at least, it always seems black/dark to me). Would you be interested in looking at this?
Qrizz: Wow, glad it appealed to you all enough to take it in :) Have fun with it. If I make updates to it I'll let you know.

Excellent work. It's very original and looks great. _________________________ Co-founder of the PW (open beta) Sea of Dragons. It is a quest-heavy (yet has sandbox elements) role-play server geared towards party adventures for mid level characters.
The other alternative that I usually use when bringing in custom clothing to offline modules is to just pre-equip the character in a test module, export and then select that character to start the game.
I added the Override. How do I use this in the OC or any Mode? What's the "giveitem" command? Thanks. _________________________ "You take a look around and you see that the law is there only to protect power. You'll see plenty of law but what you won't see is any justice."

Any ideas if anyone has done the two-bladed wpns, I thought that NWN used them but have seen one in NWN2.
walkercubed: The pole arm is not in any pack. It was something I threw together after modifying one of the scimitar blades and setting it as a halberd mountable one.
If theres a demand for it I might post it once I finish it (that did not have a proper blade-to-staff transition going on, among other things) though right now I am trying to focus on finishing up an armor/ clothing pack and figuring out how to get my own models into the game with textures (im not very experianced with modeling yet, so im going slower at this than most would).

I looked in both weapon packs you mentioned. Did not find that polearm. Where did you get that one?

Nice idea and looks great _________________________ Wyrin
just chiming in to say thanks for the kind words : ) glad to see it appeals to you all.
Chass: Done and done. Hope it's helpful.
Ivendar De'Vir: Heh, I actually liked the crest at the back! Even so, I have been meaning to make some modifications to the helmet, and will certainly try to get a version fitting your description.
Kankosthegreat: Aye, the helmet's texture do need some reworking. At first I thought I could get away with just modifying the tint map, but that.... didn't end very well, as seen in the snaps. So, as per Ivendar's and you suggestions, I will be returning to it at some point for a more in depth modifying process, both for texturing and perhaps small model modifications. Before that, however, I need to finish up a few more custom suits for Beldin. Expect a few more things to come down the pipe soon.

That's quite really awesome work for just retexturing, and a great idea, I love armoured robe-like clothing.
Though I'm not certain on what suggestions to give, but perhaps the helmet model in those pictures could be retextured into something more fitting to this piece of armour.
Nevertheless, great work! :)

Looks great. But would you mind to do a second version of the helmet just without this metal rod on the back ? I think the helm would look even greater and would like to use it. But only without :)
Last to say. Please do more :)
