This is a mithral half plate without any magical bonus although you can add them via the toolset.
At first I wanted to make it a full plate, but if you watch the screenshot carefully you see there is no so much pieces of armor :p
Why ?

Crushing monsters with an almost nude female warrior with an unrealistic armor may seem immature but it's just ... so cool ! :D
I'm happy to share this pleasure with all of you.
BTW is she cold ? Obviously not ! Barbarian girls are never cold !!! ;)
Installation
-------------
Put everything (.uti, .mdb, .dds) in your override folder. Which one (prog files or doc&settings) ? Hmmm... does it make any difference ? I don't know.
I use this armor with the OC in this override folder : Program Files\Atari\Neverwinter Nights 2\Override

Details

- Should be tintable (bust and panther skin) but I didn't check it.
- In the toolset you'll find this armor under : object > eressil > armor > ere_snowpanther
- It's the Half plate variation n�70 (this info is useful to check incompatibility with other mods)
- It's not for all races because it use the human female skeleton. Supported races are humans, half-elves(my character is one of them), and probably (didn't check it by myself) halflings, asimaars and tieflings.
- the modded version of the tiefling head not included (see credits), neither is the circlet which was found in game...

One problem which is limits the use of this armor even more is that there is no possibility to taint it. If you e.g. want to make a jaguarhide instad of snowpantherhide you can't taint the hide in a yellow/orange colour because it also changes the colour of the few plate parts too. Another problem which limits the use, is that if you have a character with darker skin colour, the cloth parts of the armar turns to the same colour

I disagree with the unrealistic argument being presented. If this game were realistic you would all play as bearded unbathed*bleep*, looting and pillaging human men. And our world would be without any spells, magic swords, orcs or deoderant. But do we rate the game a 1 because it isn't realistic? No. I think, artisticly, that the style is pretty ugly. The snow panther parts reminds me of zebra pants and the whole thing with the panties just make it look strange to me. I'll stand by my vote, I feel I rated it according to the voting system. For it's quality of work, it is a qualified recommendation. Thanks for the heads up.. I usually mod what I can in game anyway. I'm not even making the switch to nwn2 for a few months but at least I can make some custom sets. _________________________

I find it interesting that while there are a fair number of such mods as this, this one is getting all these "1" votes thrown at it, by voters who don't seem to have done that on the other such mods. The quality of this one is not significantly less, at least to my untrained eye. I smell a double standard, or at least some axes to grind here and there. What I don't see is consistency, or even intellectual honesty. If a modder has clearly stated that his goal is not realism, and is meant to be of a sexy or racy nature, it makes little sense to knock it for accomplishing what it sets out to do. And if you're going to do that, why not do it to the others as well? At least be consistently harsh, if that's the way you want to play it.

ne big problem I had is that I could trace this back to alot of other suits I bet you've seen, making this unoriginal. the other thing is... Snow leapord... Panties.. (Imagines the sword straight through every vulnerable spot that there is) Not much of a full-plate.

I agree wholeheartidly with Dr_Sascha, please read the voting guidelines before casting a vote. I feel very sorry that Eressil's work is being treated with such a lack of respect, and that already we are seeing NWN2 'voting wars'. The author spent time creating something in the Toolset for us to all enjoy, or not, depending on your tastes. The voting guidelines which took months and months of very hard work to be decided upon and implemented, are being so flagrantly ignored; that if we are not careful we will have a NWN2 HoF that is full of dross instead of outstanding quality work. Likewise we will have files that have been down scored simply because someone 'does not like it' and will score on the fact they don't like a file, rather than on the QUALITY of the work itself. While I am in no way saying this file is bad, I am saying that it certainly is not deserving of the votes of 1's 10's that it has received. I also understand that the high votes are because most feel the author has been treated badly for no other reason than some people object to the content, rather than voting on the actual quality of the content. There are procedures within the Vault to report obvious votes that blatantly disregard the voting guidelines for both high and low votes. Please folks, let's not start NWN2 voting as NWN1 voting has left off these last couple of years. We have a chance to -really-make a change, to reward those who without a doubt deserve HoF, and reward and encourage others who offer us not only their visions, but freely share hours of work with us. If everybody scores a 10 or a 1 on a file, then NWN2 rankings will have even less meaning than NWN1 does.
