I would like to see more modules built that are multiplayer friendly. I am no builder, but it does seem like some simple choices can be made when the module is built that would make it both single player and multiplayer compatible.
The issues with creating a multiplayer module versus a single play module are mostly testing-oriented. It's harder to balance an encounter, for example, if you don't know how many players will be there.
The biggest issue, I've found, is that, by default, all NPCs will deal with all PCs as if the PC was always the same person. I wish there was a way to, when a module started, determine how many PCs were in a module and store basic information about them, including an identity number. There probably is a way to do that; I just don't know how.
It's maddening to me that, by *default* the toolset locks up the game to hold a conversation so all the non-conversing player can do is watch the conversation happen. Don't get me wrong, cutscene conversations are great, but they shouldn't be the default.
