it may be a mod for the main UI but it would be nice for those dual wielders to have the weapon on the hotkey and specify a weapon as equiping offhand.
I dont know if i fully understand what you mean. if you propose that euqipping two weapons via hotkey should be possible, i think it's already possible.
just drag your primary weapon to the quickslot and then your offhand weapon.
