any way that someone could do a switch in the .2da so that you can use the spikey hair from the air genasai with the fire genasai and have the glowmap effect for the hair intact from the fire? i looked at the appearance.2da and well im lost on what to do to it ....
ive been messing with the models and whatnot for about an hour now using the afore mentioned programs and ive found the models and textures (with much digging around) lol im fine with just an override of the second fire genasi hair with the one from the air genasi but when i rename the mdb and the textures associated with it..... and replace the original ones i just get a second model of the hair01 mdb for the fire genasi when i make a char... any help? and do i need to make any changes to the 2da with this way of doing things or is this even possible?
i still haven't bought motb yet, but i am sure you can do that by using the tool "mdb cloner" (you'll find it at here at the vault) check out what name the hair model has (i recommmend the packfile explorer tool which also can be found here) and also open one fire genasi hair with the mdb cloner just to see to what texture (fire glow map probably is the one which is ending with "_i") it is associated. Then try to associate the the air genasi hair model with the fire glow map and rename the model to the fire genasi hair naming conventions .. just use a higher number .. D
