It seems to me that there is a large portion of the NWN2 community that prefer a more "skin-ful" representation of the game, regardless of their adventure.
Some great contributions from this community, like Aleanne, Chimneyfish, Jester, and many others have done some great work. The folks that put it together into the Sexy OC, its addon, and now LCountach's SexyOC MotB Addon, all did us a huge favor, in terms of transforming that artwork into functional use in the OC and NX1.
But, with the expansion now out, premium modules (or whatever Atari is calling them) on the way, and even more artwork flooding into the vault...it begs the question...
Maybe we should like, get organized about this Sexy OC stuff. One release, everything works together, easy install, easy update.
I have read the readme files of all the authors I could find in the misc files I have, and all of them ask that if their work is used give them credit, and don't charge money. Easy enough. (Although Aleanne, we could charge money for a great number of your things, awesome stuff.)
Some of the very people that made the original artwork used in the compilation modification are working on new projects or aren't active in the community anymore (*sob*). Those that are, it seems to me, should be active being creative..not worrying about the next version upload. And then there are the people who are going to make the stuff we want to add to it.
In other words, why a Sexy OC, or even Sexy NX1, why not a Sexy Expansion Pack. The goal of the pack would be to continue to update the OC and NX1 sexy/functionality, but more importantly, also include a hak file made up of community work that could be used by module builders. That hak file would be the real juicy bits. Eventually, the OC and the NX1 will work, and we will run out of characters to re-skin. But a updated hak, that module builders could use, now that would be something...
I know I could make a hak file of the current work, but to me the whole point is to continue to add to the work, and make it more community driven, without increasing clutter on hard drives and doubling up on files for no reason. In addition, I think we would see more submitted creations if the authors can focus on creating and don't have to worry about continueing to update it to make the application of said artwork work on the latest patch. The more I read the threads underneath file submissions, the more I sympathize with these awesome people that take the time to make this stuff, not just for themselves but for us, and then stuggle with not just the occasional rude and demanding person, but have to continually update and correct things that have nothing to do with the artwork, and everything to do with how some files have to be structuared and edited.
I really adore the CEP for NWN1, and while I think its much to early for something of that scope in NWN 2, something like the Sexy OC mod, that applies to so many of the community, could only be a good thing.
I personally am not an artist, nor a modeler. In fact, my understanding of the toolset application is pretty limited. I am however great at organization, and that brings me to my point.
If I were to take all of the work from the Sexy OC contributors, make a clean and full "camapaign/expansion" version for the overide folder, and then a .HAK version for module builders/players, and then update them as new contributions were being made, would people want that? Would the authors mind? Would people make new stuff to be contributed? Would people like LCountach continue to focus on technical addon type files that make it all work?
See, I am volunteering to be the Managing Editor...I am simply not capable of the artistry or techical skills that the authors themselves have. But if those same authors are willing to work with me, I will make sure a functional, streamlined, and continually improving sexy community expansion is up and available for download.
I would love to hear from people on this, and I am sure that while in my little world this a new idea, if I looked hard enough someone else has either had it or is working on something similar. I really want to hear from the people who are still working on projects pertaining to the Sexy OC/NX1 addon or projects that COULD be. I want to get a feeling for interest from contributors before I dedicate myself to doing it. The simple reason for that is that obviously, for a bit less work, and a lot less responsibility, I can make this work for me at home. I believe however the NWN2 community needs this. Not just to make a very cool idea bigger and better, but because the community as a whole could benefit from more universal projects. The CEP exceeded everybodys expectations, but I think the coolest thing it did was bring the community's creativity together in a "it all works together" package, and it did that from its first release. We need that here. Badly.

Would I want to add things like companion multiclassing, custom models, etc? Well, of course! But one goal at a time. First Sexy and Functional, then we can worry about Sexy and Uber! :D
Yes please, one single easy to install update. The combined pack of stuff is outdated, and the 'Bare Essentials' doesn't seem to include everything, and trying to do all the individual downloads was too confusing because a lot of them had a ton of different file options to download or something, plus you have to download the 3 (or 4...) parts, and the romance addon. Also, I noticed the romance addon, sometimes your female character when you choose the lesbian option is referred to as male, I just recently noticed Neeshka referring to the PC as male, when they were actually female, so the way this was implemented seems like it was done in a pretty simple manner, and it might be able to be brushed up a bit.
for the record, you guys couldn't have possibly made all of this any more redundant than it already is. Great work, really, but there is no organization at all, not even from Tygaran(which was disappointing).
Oh well, at least some things are still easy to install. ::)
This still should really be attempted at least, but at this point I don't see that happening.

You wish to create an "all-in-one" hakpak to be used much like the Community Expansion Project (CEP) and the PRC for Neverwinter Nights 1 did, but with more adult themed content?
I'm in.
My questions: Will they *have* to be used in the main campaigns (OC / MotB / SoZ)? Or will they be a resource for people who want to add romance into a module? Or both?
How can we, the community, help in this project?
It seems this already includes correct female anatomy (As the previous post asks, does it have bouncy breasts, like Aribeth from NWN1?), will it have correct male anatomy as well?
Also, there is one thing between "sexy" and "sex inspireing". It's not so much as "ooh, look! Nipples!" for sexy as "I can *almost* see nipples, just a little more..."
--- Suggestive clothing can be more powerful than outright nudity was the point of the previous paragraph... for anyone who caught that. Perhaps some semi-see through clothing, or very skimpy clothing would be just as effective, if not more so, than a plain nude skin.

As I am a French simple end-user with some basic understanding of English and new to the NWN series community, I often come across some trouble with the how-to-use of the mods especially when the mod I try to apply call ressources from other mods like the Sexy OC (standard and reloaded) or conflicts between some mods and so on..
So if all the sexy-related (but NOT PR0N) material can be organized in a single the end-user package, even without the linking work it would be great.
Being the author of the first Sexy OC Addon, and since I've recenty returned to NWN, I've begun work on a related project; currently called the Sexy OC Reloaded project.
Basically, it should cause virtually all female PC race creatures to have sexy type armor. All equipped armor should alter itself to be sexytype for female characters and OC original for male characters.
Working on a final version for the OC first, then will tackle MotB.
Note that this is predominently a scripting project which makes use of the existing clothing packs. I'll also have optional 'facelift' options that override the defaut heads of various NPCs (prefer using different head/hair combos for Neeshka, Elenaa, and Shandra; even torio now too.)

I ottally agree. I just finished installing SexyOC MotB Addon and while it wasn't too difficult compared other mods such as BG2 mods, it wasn't easy either.
The major reason we need a nude package is becuase updating each of the individual mods becomes a pain. One centralized install with various options to choose from would be the ideal choice.
I too think this needs to be done... Some of us just want to enjoy the content. But I've no idea where to begin assembling the Sexy OC and the many different files. Streamlining or combining the files to simplify it would be awesome!
Thank you for the input those that responded here. I have not received any input from the original creators however, and while a first version could be done, without creative input, it would not be presenting anything new other then a simpler download and install. I am most likely going to be rebuilding my gaming rig before the end of the year, so my plan is to make an unofficial compilation, which is basically by hak/override folders, sometime after New Years (and real life calms down from the holidays).

No, it's not too early. The biggest problem with Custom content in NWN1 was the fact that anything that modified the same 2da files was often incompatible with other items because people were using the same lines in those files for their content. Starting something like this now is the perfect time to prevent a repeat of that.

I am not really into modifying the oc/nx1c anymore then they already are, so much as making sure they continue to function with the sexy addons. A community driven compilation with (for example) custom animations might allow some people to do some stuff on the wild side in their modules, however thats the module, not the compilation. Just cause those animations are in there, doesn't mean the campaign is all of a sudden gonna show you and Elanee doing the wild thing. At least, I don't think so....
Being completely real: If people wanted it to be called Corrandk's Attempt at Unifying Creative Genius, and I treated the Sexy OC as a simple part of it rather then a central theme, I can do that if people think that would be more productive and/or accurate.
Just remember, my goal with this idea is not to generate interest from those uninterested, its to take those that are already interested and focus the energy in a productive way that benefits the community as a whole. We have plenty of people making stuff out there, and a lot of it is being used by a majority of Vault patrons. The Sexy OC is a classic, and as game updates require modifications I hope that it is updated, but I think its legacy should be a community expansion pack, built from this Sexy concept, but adding some of the things that this community has produced that initaially don't seem to make the game sexier..but if you think about it...they do make the game sexier!
Example: AI mod (TonyK is the bomb, 'nuff said.)
Example: The StoryTeller01 is incredible and prolific and I would love to see some of that creativity implememented in this concept.
Example: Animators. If you know any, hit them over the head with a club and drag them to a cave with a computer, inet connection, and NWN2. Tell them they can't leave until they make animations that make personal contact between characters at least possible. (and believable)
Example: I think that "whatbrick" has contributed as much to my gaming experience as the Sexy OC has. His hairs, heads, and the implementation of wings....oh the possiblities...(thanks so much for that btw :D)
And there are many others....

I think this is a grand idea, unfortunately I think the developers are contractually obligated to stop 'some' of the mods for it.

Let me be the first to say: Great Idea! I can only encourage anyone involved in the previous efforts to listen to corrandk... it would make things much easier in the future.
As for the reason to do it... well, I know it may sound strange to some, but it is really a matter of choice and taste... those who'd rather have their characters dressed as Amish... please, do so, I for one wouldn't want to know someone tried to prevent you from doing this... and I hope you would feel the same if someone decided to prevent me (and others like me) to choose otherwise.
That for me is one of the real meanings of freedom: respect for each other's choices.
Now let's hope some of you, great modelers out there (are you there Aleanne?) listen to this nice idea and do something about it... your work is great as it is... but sometimes even great things can be improved.
