I know many people don't like the sims 2 at all, but I saw here somebody took heads and hairs from the sims 2 to make them available for neverwinter nigths 1.
Even if the sims 2 is not a good game for many RPG players, they did a great job about head and hairs, and many people did free downloads very nice.
You could take some of them, for example :
Link Link Link Link Link (you can find more in google with the keywords "sims 2 download")
and make them available for neverwinter nights 2.
The sims 2 work similarly to neverwinter nights 2 (heads and hair separated - with more option of personalisation but it's not important I think), so I think it would be interesting to take some of them. It would give some hairs more for men ;).
If you want, I could mail creators to get their authorisation to using their work.
(PS : sorry for my english)
Update : I succeeded in getting the .obj file and the 3 dds file (textures) to make those hairs available for neverwinter nights 2 but I wasn't able to convert them in a mdb file. A .mtl file miss. Somebody told me I needed a 3D software but I don't know anything on it. I someone could held me... i could send the files..
Good idea. The Sims 2 custom content community is huge and should be a veritable cornupia of different kinds of hairstyles. Don't much care about the faces, but they can be made to look less cartoonish with custom skintones and some adjustments, IIRC.

Anything is better than the fugly head models in NWN2. Whoever designed those was asleep at the wheel. Especially the elves. I'm convinced half of the lack of success of NWN2 is because the artist couldn't make hardly any attractive character models.
Yes, people like to play hot looking characters.
I've been tempted and probably will make portraits of my sims and use them for my characters in NWN1. Its easy to custom a character for the game and then just take a screenie. Good suggetsion.
In practice, this would work better for non-dynamic NPCs rather than for PCs, since the PLT format does not support transparency (except with cloaks, which have a special 2da line controlling it), whereas the TGA/DDS formats do. _________________________ KotOR Heads FR Deity and Faction Cloaks Fall-from-Grace Soundset

Funnily enough I created some sims to serve as portraits for a tabletop game of "Paranoia" that I ran. They worked very well :) Not sure they look rugged enough for Neverwinter, but there's bound to be some downloads that would help. _________________________ View my blog regarding the Relbonian Chronicles project --> Link

Great idea! Wish that future crpg hade the same concepts of customising chars :D
But... I think this is a legal issue.. EA (don't like them), will be quite upset.. _________________________ ::RAWR::
