I was wondering if it was possible for someone to make different animation for unarmed fighting. It would be nice you you could attach it to a feat. Like take a boxer feat. Or Martial Artist. Im not a big fan of the unarmed attack animations in the game. It makes it hard to try to roleplay as a boxer when the character fights like that. Email me at [email protected] if you think you can do this and we can toss around some ideas.

The closest I've gotten to getting a monk to use a boxing style is to use the toolset to make invisible weapons, and have him dual-wield these invisible weapons. His guard is ridiculously low, and his punches... less than perfect in form, but even that's a step up from the default unarmed combat animations.
In any case, while it doesnt look possible at the moment, I wholeheartedly support your idea.
At this point, there is no way to modify animations or add new ones to the game. This is because the architecture of NWN2 requires the VERY expensive Granny2 system for animations. Once new tools are written and Obsidian releases a system by which end-users can export animations to the .GR2 format (without having to purchase Granny2 themselves) then we can look into modding animations. Till then, no banana. _________________________ Lead Animator, DLA
