An adnventure idea where you end up playing as a dragon.

Plot
Description
You create a character like any other module, but when the module starts, you'll find that you are instead a young (medium sized) dragon of differing color, either based off chosen race, or more likely off of alignment.
To get things started off, you wake up in a cave to the sound of an approaching group of enemies come to slay you. They call you a dragon, though at this point you don't realize it as you know yourself as being whatever race you picked at creation. During the fight is when you realize your new form.
After you slay the invaders, you are given a chance to explore the cave, find your horde (a container to hold stuff you don't want to carry with you), and also find a way out.
The premise of the story is that as you try to get used to being a dragon, you are also trying to figure out how you became a dragon. Meanwhile, there will be ways to do both good, and evil, for those that wish to play an evil dragon. Of course, being that you aren't a natural dragon, you should be allowed to change alignment, and in the case of a neutral alignment, you would already be outside of the normal curve.
While I plan to attempt to make this module myself, I have never truly attempted to work on a module, or adventure before, and would be just as happy if someone else choose to take on this idea. If so, please contact me at [email protected]
sorry I'm delayed for a bit my toolset has an error and won't startup, I am really sorry _________________________ what's with dragons, they are just big fire-breathing beasts
>_> <_<
would be cool to have one as a pet though
I can do it I just hope you will look at this 3 yr old idea at one time but I know how to make it happen (I'm a straight A student in IT programing at School so I'm very good at C++) it will take a while but I can work on this campaign in my free time (I think I'm the first one to make Campaigns due to the thing put on this website aren't campaigns just modules) PS the turning the character into a dragon part is very simple when you look at the all scrips we have to work with =D (I can't send you a email because you haven't uploaded the address to this idea but contact me on [email protected]) _________________________ what's with dragons, they are just big fire-breathing beasts

another idea, you might have everyone unable to understand you except a druid you meat later who will help you become normal again _________________________ what's with dragons, they are just big fire-breathing beasts

If you are to make him/her realize they are a dragon only in the middle of the fight then you should have to make it a small bit of opening animation where all you see is what your character sees, it might be hard to make but you might be able to do it _________________________ what's with dragons, they are just big fire-breathing beasts

You may also want to look through the "Draconomicon" source book. Chromatic dragons are evil, metalics are good and the gem types cover the full range.
Hmmm... I actually hadn't read that book. I might look into it. I'm glad you both like the idea. Now if I can find some time to try and make it.
Of course, as I said before, I've never attempted to make a module before, and would be willing to help out someone with more experience if they choose to take up this project. Just make sure that if you e-mail me, the subject is easily recognized as I get a lot of junk mail. :P
An interwsting idea, helps see the world from the eyes of th eeeviiiilll monsters every 'hero' likes to go out and rob-torture-beat up-and eventually kill.
That sounds a bit like a fantasy novel called "The Dragon Knight" by, I think, Gordon Dickerson. It is a variation of getting zapped into a fantasy realm. In this case, the main character gets zapped into the body of a dragon. In this case it is more of a possesion, since the original dragon's mind is still "in there" in the backgroud.
If you haven't read it, it might give you some ideas.
I does sound like a an interesting idea for a module.
