Kalaloth is not only a model, it's the base for a perfect weapon. Using it as a war hammer and inspired in an old moor mace, this weapon could be your favourite war friend.
The weapon includes an UI screen that steals the enemies' soul and when it's full, it begins to make strange damage effects and hurt the enemies as you never saw before.
I set all the needed files into a hak, that contains:
- 3 models for the main weapon(slot warhammer 71)
- 3 textures for the model.
- 1 xml file to fire the UI (3 textures)
- 3 scripts to handle the UI and effects
- 1 effect (sef) with 3 pfx (3 textures).
- Item blueprint
I added too a playable demo mod to test for yourself the results, just extract the hak and the module in its folders and you're ready to play and test it.
The weapon it's just a basic example of an stronger and more advanced system i have in my modules (that will be ready someday..).
Demo playable module to test the item in a hack and slash aventure (lvl 4-6).

As I've said, I change my vote ;-)
You have made a great job in order to reduce the polygone's count, there is a very little default on one of the blades. You have inverted the naming convention of the b and c parts.
And I've some regrets about the little blades at the bottom which have disappeared, now there is a lack of balance between the top and the bottom of the weapon.

This is my 10 as i had to redo the model twice for low poly count (as videogames rules).
Now you have the same model (well, little different) in 1000 polys instead the 14000. I'm a begginer but i learn quick.. very quick :) _________________________ The Ancient NWN Spanish Community Link

Qrch this idea is truly excellent, but I can't trust that you can't do better.

14000 it's to high for game and the textur is just

I think its very good - however, I have to agree with Argyl here: The polycount is just too high. You'd tend to expect between 4000 - 5000 polys on a decorative weapon like this, almost a third of what it currently is at.
If this was purely a modelling forum, it wouldn't much matter, but from a game point of view its too costly to dismiss.

The original poly count was 39000 polygons... so yes, it's optimiced. Try to do some curved motive as the pommel and try to texturize it :)

This model is very nice, but what the hell with the polygon's count : 14158.
This needs a good optimisation, a lot of polygons are unnecessary.

Arma muy bien hecha, y con trasfondo realista, lo que se agradece mucho ;) No me acaba de convencer del todo la cabeza de maza redonda, pero eso va a gustos y lo que se está votando es la calidad, ahí va ^_^

Wow, very nice work.
You wouldn't happen to have a not so evil looking version would you.
It would be good to have two to choose from. If not, it's still wow. _________________________ Coen
