Here is the first of a series of ethnic heads I'm working on.
Specs:
Model is a little under 2000 tris with 512x512 textures.
All heads I include in this pack are rigged for facial animation (all be it rather simply) and can be used as talking NPCs.
All models are original, only the neck, eyes and inner mouth were carried through from obsidian's stock models and only to ensure visual continuity.

She is meant to be useable as an Arabic type character.
Males will follow in Vol 2 when this pack is complete ;)
[update] Added a head based on the Maasai people.
[update August 27] Resolved Head 1 texture clashing issue by renaming textures to mach head number, thanks Balgin Stondraeg for pointing out the issue.
Jewelry is now toggleable with facial hair button in character creation. Thanks E.C.Patterson for the suggestion and Balgin Stondraeg for suggesting the facial hair toggle, I didn't think it was possible with female heads, great to know it is :)
Fixed the odd pixel on head 2.

Added an Asian head. Still may have some bugs so feel free to let me know in the comments if you find anything wrong. I will address any issues as and when they are discovered.
This pack is now complete and I will be moving on to volume 2, the male versions ;)
All that remains here is any bug fixing and or conflict resolution.
[01/09/09] Cleaned up the seams on head 3 a little better. xNormal does not render my normal maps cleanly enough so I have stuck with max. xNormal is too limited in functionality to deal with semi mismatched highpolys.
Whilst absolutely lovely, these heads do seem to have that annoying "dark seem along the middle and down the back of the neck" problem when viewed at a distance. They're still lovely. It just makes them a little bit harder to use bald or with shorter hairstyles. I'm looking forwards to the heads too.

Beautiful faces... I've read that you're working in some elf heads, maybe someday we'll see half-elves too? :)

The Maasai head hs a tiny white dot by the lower left hand corner of her mouth (her left) that doesn't seem to change colour with the rest of her skin. I thought I'd better let you know. Great models 'though. Keep up the good work :).

Gulli05: I have already made heads for sun elves and drow but I don't plan on releasing them untill I have heads for all the elf races. I have 3 female and 3 male heads for sun and drow and am working on the same for the others ;) IT will be quite a while before I'm ready for a release of those though. Nice seeing new heads for NWN2. I have a suggestion. We need some more elf looking heads. Some of the Elf heads in NWN2 are plain bad looking. I am mostly talking about the Female ones. I think it would be cool to get some for: All Elf races, Half-Elfs, Half-Drows and any other you'd wish to make. And when I talk about Elf heads we need more graceful, beautiful and elf looking. I hope you listen to my suggestion, I would love to see more heads for NWN2. -Gulli05
