It looks coppery in the screenshot because it was sunset at the time it was taken. :)

Um ,looks coppery to me, NEAT!, but coppery. I'd call it a copper dragon, or brass perhaps, gold plated? _________________________ NTB's Hills and Valleys Vol. 00

Fantastic job! Certainly moving in the right direction on this model! _________________________ Brian S. Bloom

... and the wings (what is left of them) seem to tint fine for me, both in the toolset and in the game. I didn't change the tint maps, so the models are still using the standard red dragon tints.
Most of the wings have been clipped away (via the alpha mask on the main texture), but it would be easy enough to put some holes in the remaining membranes.
So far I've got bones showing through for the ribs, the neck and the tail, with a few puncture marks scattered about (although they're hard to notice, even with the normal map indenting them). I'll no doubt keep tinkering with the texture though. The texture over the thighs is spread out so much that detailed texture work seems to get blurred. I might take a heavier hand with the normal map, and see if I can make deep cracks and crevasses with it.
I've almost got a (wingless) brown dragon ready, and have started on a shadow dragon (with translucent wings, by clipping the membranes and replacing them with the glow texture). If the black dragon has separate wing models like the read and bronze dragons, then it might make a good horned felldrake.
It's been great fun watching the red dracolich fight a normal red dragon. The dracolich usually wins. Being undead it gets the knock-down feat, and ol' bony frequently knocks the live dragon on it's 'tail' (so to speak).

Very nice! Do you have plans on doing this for every dragon? I'd love you so, so much if you did!

This looks good. Some feedback - The texture could use more visible bones, or rotting flesh. It looks pretty similar to the original. I'm not a texture wizard myself, but is there a way to make bits of the wings transparent?
