Converting models is good for the soul, no one should complain about more oprions in the game they love playing ;) however I am doing more and more custom models now.
These are kinda big but they were my first release :P _________________________ MWMDRAGON

The voting may be a bit harsh, but i have to strongly condone swiping models from other other sources, either literally or just conceptually.
As for the whole low poly\ high poly thing: Im a huge supporter of optimization, and not weasting geometry, but you sometimes need to know what the is the bare minimun to make an idea work and how many faces you can spare to do it...just as you dont just build every model to the maximum polycount the game lets you get away with, you also do not build every model as if it was a series of squares because it´s the less straining option on game resources.
Id like to see you try your hand at building your own stuff from the scratch,im sure you can come up with something worthwhile.

These models are from WoW, in fact I have two of these axes on my hunter. Good to see WoW models being put into NWN =D _________________________ NWN,WoW are not games.... they are my life

I'm sure i could leave the models at a higher polycount and leave the textures at 512x512 but what I make is for the PW crowd. I don't think that every little addition to NWN2 has to be a masterpiece and be over a meg of hard drive space for the sake of keeping up with the jones's. I say less is more unless of course you contribute nothing, then less is always better ;) make up some high end models and help grow the free NWN2 content!! _________________________ MWMDRAGON

Oh, men... the idea of a simple axes is definitely good, but the quality level not to say greater - it doesn't even match the original NWN2 content. It doesn't even match the level of a good NWN1.
Quality of the models and textures - this is the main weak point of this work.

I'll just make the battleaxes bigger :P I like big weapons.
You are always welcome to resize them if you so desire.
