An Arquebus is an olden style flint gun that was in the 1st and 2nd edition rules, not sure if it's in the new stuff but it is something missing from NWN2. This is selectable from the Light Crossbow Appearance area. just put this hak in your Hak folder to have access to this ingame and in the toolset.

A very nice model.
Next i would like to see a custom fx designed for the item, along with a variety of options on how best to implement ammo, speed of use and projectile effects.
The simplest way perhaps is to have no combat damage and charges-based spell effects (fire arrow perhaps). Combined with the ability to "recharge" the item somehow to simulate ammunition-supply.
Considering that in 2nd Edition Smoke Powder was considered rare enough to counts as a "magical item).

I've used this to make an override that replaces slings in the game with guns. I was going to use the gun models from the Dark Waters series, but I really liked the musket look of this one you made. I'm fairly certain you uploaded this for the express purpose that people would actually use it in other things, but if you do not want me to distribute your content, please let me know right away. This is very nice, an imaginative addition. We are thinking of switching our world to a Warhammer styled setting and may include this.

Could anyone give some advice as to how to get this hak working. I've placed the file in the Hak folder as instructed but the Light Crossbow is not replaced. I have NWN2 + MOTB with the all the updates. Many thanks !

This is new content! Not some small detail changed but a real contribution. Nice for a gnomish spellcaster or maybe a dwarven bard. What would be even more awesome is an old style scope on the arquebus. Did you sort out the ammo issue? Is it possible that you make a collection of your fine design into one big override version? I don't know how to use this in the official campaigns.
