Five weeks earlier you and your companions awoke in a small damp cave. Not knowing who you were or where you came from and clad in strange armor. Surrounded by strange people with foreign ways. The next month was a blur of attacks and flight into the wilderness. South, always heading south into the mountains. You have arrived at a small trading post at the base of the eastern mountains. Cold, exhausted and starving with the winter snows coming you take a risk and enter the trading post for supplies.
Player Race: Moon or Drow Elf
(The module won't make sense with any other race)
Interesting plot, but too linear. Too strong opponents for the first levels. Too much locations without sense, and places that do nothing. The story is hard to follow by. A good work, but I suppose you could do better.

Too dependant on triggers, areas too small with too many loading transitions, and to be as linear as it is the flow was uncomfortable. Unpolished is the impression I got from it. After I got stuck in the barrows I'd just about had enough. Could be a good module after some work.

Thanks for the feedback all. I'll take a look at what has happened.

Hello, Blakavare, I have experienced the problem noted by gomer re the area transition for the door on the north end of the small building in the Arena not working. I also noticed that the SW corner of the interiors is blank, leading me to think that there should be something through the problem door. I'm hopeless with the toolset, so I can't really check. In addition, I have found Mara's adventurer and had the conversation trigger, but when I go back to the Black Ox as the convo suggests, she won't speak to me. I didn't try the Barrows yet, nor the Arena Ruins, so I can't comment, but it does seem that the latest patch did break some things. Cheers, Dave Fritz

Just to followup the Mod I downloaded is also date 5-19. Is this the correct version?

I have gone through this twice now, the first time I got to and into the barrow. After clearing it out I could not get back out. Sounds like I missed a rope after reading some other posts. 2nd try, I got to the barrow hole was asked if I wanted to climb down or back away. I said back away so I could do a save before entering the barrow. After that I could not enter the hole as your trigger never gave me the option. And the save game happened after I said back away so I have no way to get down without restarting the game. I downloaded the module today 07/01/2007 and spent a frustrating day playing it through the bugs.

Looks like I d/l'ed this just before you updated it. The mod file in the .rar is dated 5-19. I'll d/l it again and try again. Ran across a little bug in this version. The rock building just east of the circular arena. Attempts to enter the north facing door of the north building fails. Can open the door like there is supposed to be something inside, but cannot enter.

Sorry for late post, work has had me busy. gomer; if you haven't already tried these yet, leave the area and come back in. Try to approach the barrows trigger from another angle. The trigger is also party dependant so Nad needs to be close. Hopefully the its a glitch and the latest patch didn't break somthing. Thanks everyone for the votes and feedback. Thanks QSW for posting the VFX link.

Hesitate to vote yet because as much as I have enjoyed this mod so far, I have hit a snag. I declined the option to climb down into the borrows and now cannot get back to that option. Downloaded this mod only yesterday (6-28-07), so it should have the fix in it for this previously reported glitch. Is there a workaround?

Thanks muchly. I had tried to do a search for it but drew snickers from the search engine. _________________________ We are all born ignorant, but one must work to remain ignorant. Benjamin Franklin
