In passing through a village you find it oddly deserted except for a light in the window of the hedge wizards home. The door is unlocked and you step through into a deathly quiet.
Will what lies within explain the disappearence of the villagers? Or will you join the missing.
My first module, it's very short and not finished yet but I could do with some feedback to help me finish.
It is missing plot and rewards at present.
Hey - I gave this one a quick try. Seems like this could be forming into a nice little hack & slash mod - the sort of an adventure that a character might experience in between some other mods. I like such little mods. :)
At this moment it isn't quite clear, of course, what's going on here. At least I couldn't speak to the certain chap found in the end. Also, when the "bad guy" talked to me in the cut-scene, the cut-scene took place while the fighting still continued. It would be great if the fighting would only start after the cut-scene. Also, it would be cool if the main baddie would attack with the rest, and not only after they've been dealt with (as happened in my case).
What else? Oh, as noted, it's impossible to play this with a new 1st level character without any weapons. And perhaps there could be some tiny little treasure for the player to be found in the house.
It's looking good. I'll certainly check out the final version with one of my characters. Keep up! :)
Axe_Edge - you can change your vote in the future if you find that this module gets better. I'm just mentioning it incase you don't know that you can change your vote, some people don't know that you can.

By the way, as soon as I pressed submit to enter my coments, I wished I didn't give a vote rating. I wish I did "just posting comment". I don't want other people to get the wrong idea. This mod may be in a 4 category at present, but it's well on its way to greatness when complete ;) I got carried away because a lot of mod builders want a rating.
About the ambient sounds, it was either "Lighthouse" and/or "Dark Water 1" which had great examples of the types of creepy sounds your mod needs. Take it easy.
Glad to see a new little mod released. The description sounds nice - I like these little mods. I'll see if I can find the time to givec it a try. I might wait for a final version. :)

Good job for a first mod and glad to see you goin' for it. Rating reflects the mod being far from complete, thus it is not solid (5). Your description let me know what to expect and I went in open minded. Here's some help. I started off with was a new 1st level half-orc cleric. Once in, I had no weapons. I figure the current start point will not be the start point of your final module, so you may want to temporarily add a weapon or two for characters to pick up, at the beginning. I used a trainer mod and grabbed a weapon and leveled up to 2nd level. Creepy ambient sounds are needed. When outside of one of the first rooms (the one on the right), I could see the shadows of the contents (including zombie's, candelabra, and furniture) showing through the wall. Good job scripting for the key to the basement. May want to change the appearance of some of the zombies, as well as change the weapons the skeletons have. The transition from the finished basement to the cave portion needs to be a little cleaner (while looking toward the cave portion, I could see behind the cave wall). I saw that Aldanon never lost health, so I didn't have a sense of urgency to kill the last shadow (I figure it'll be addressed when the plot is put in). Liked the dialog in the last room. Just trying to help you out. Good job. Keep working it.
