The second Module in the Seaside series. Not necessary to have played the first, but helpful. 5 companions are available for single player and all or none may be added to your party. Be sure and get all their equipment when you have completed the mod so it will be available for the next adventure.
Corrected some major dialog errors.
03/02/08 Module now has quests and Journal Entries.

I enjoy a little hack & slash, but the areas are too compact and close to town to have any feel of roleplaying--and the respawning would wear down anyone. Fun killing gobbies though.

I enjoyed this next installment of your hack and slash series. I played a warlock and used all of the NPCs.
I took all of the NPCs' equipment with my PC into this module. In the first module, I had the barbarian take one level of fighter so she could use tower shields. So, when I arrived in this module, I had a tower shield for her. Some quick shopping fixed this.
The goblins were challenging. The party never got very far from the stairs down and we let them come to us. Even so, it was a difficult battle. I was just about to retreat/flee when the last goblins finally went down. By then, only the fighter and my PC were still standing. Near the end, I had my PC standing behind the fighter and using healing kits over and over to keep him standing. Personally, I call that well balance combat.

Look for main comments on seaside 1. Fun idea of level 2 in goblin caves. Hordes of goblins in small area. Intense slaughter follows.
