good module, a little short, but nice org/warg battles .... three of us were able to do this relatively handily ~level 6-7

Re: The One Githyanki
Don't know how he gets there. Doesn't show in the toolset as an encounter or a creature. Most of the time he does not appear, but I have had him turn up as well. I've named him Gilhooney.

This gave me trouble.

I have now finished this module. It was a nice example of a hack and slash adventure. This module ended up having a lot more archery battles than the first two. Both the "orcs" and the "orc archers" tended to stay in place and fire range weapons rather than close for melee fighting. This isn't a problem, it added some variety.
The early parts of the orc caves seemed a bit easier than I expected. This may be due to the powerful magic staffs I mentioned in my last post. I decided to increase the challenge by not resting the spell casters right before the final room. Since my PC is a Warlock, I don't need to rest. At the end of the final battle, only my PC was still standing. So, I feel things were balanced out well.
What's with the one Githyanki just outside the last room?

The treasure at the end was very good

I haven't finished this one yet, but I did have one comment. I have enlisted all of the NPCs and equipped them to the limit of my gold. This time, I sold everyones gear at the end of module 2 and just took the gold with my PC into this module. The wizard's tower has a Staff of the Magi, and one other powerful magic staff for sale. Each costs just 1 gold piece. So, the wizard NPC will be going into battle with a Staff of the Magi and my warlock PC, with high Use Magic Device skill, will be wielding the other powerful staff.
This may be some quirk with the game engine itself, but those items are worth way more than 1 gold piece each. Having the available so cheap may well unbalance the combat and make it too easy.

again very tough with hordes of orc barbs going into rage, playing hardcore so can't hit them with fireball in combat.
however too much treasure

Look for main comments on seaside 1. After this module, I've had all but most expensive items from the store (I lacked only robe of the Archmagi and regeneration rings for other party members).
