This is the first in a new series I am doing for NWN2. It is made for single player or multiplayer. There are 6 companions available and the single adventurer can take 5 with him. In multiplayer it is suggested that you leave the companions behind.
Play begins in the Midpoint Inn in the town of Midpoint. The companions are in various rooms in the inn.
Midpoint is a prosperous little community because it is the midpoint along the trade route between two large city states.
You will need to talk to the barkeep to get started on your first quest. This first quest for level one characters is somewhat difficult, but can be won without losing too many companions if the town is thoroly explored and sufficient good equipment and healing potions are purchased.
This is a hack'n' slash module with a single quest don't expect much roleplay or fancy scripts. Please judge it for what it is when you vote and for what is intended to be. It is somewhat similar to Uninvited Guests, the short Official Quest. Simple and straight forward. However, constructive feedback is most welcome.
I learned a great deal from my first series, Seaside 1-6 and hope I have improved with this one. At least 4 more episodes will be coming soon as they are nearly complete.
The reason they are not in one huge modules is for more efficient and faster running gameplay and for people who like to complete there game in one sitting.
Whether you think they are polished or well done or not, I hope you will have fun playing them, as that is their purpose.
Anyone who would like to use all or any part of these in their mods or PW's are welcome to use these. It is not necessary to give me credit.
At the end of the quest grab all the equipment for your main character if you are playing single player.
As usual I have made liberal use of the available prefabs out there, however, the Town of Midpoint itself is my own creation. Thanks for comments and voting.

Good module, well alocated to equip NPCs. Some "gripes" to make it better: NPCs AI, they like to all run after the enemy (like I said gripe, not an issue, just had to go into their menus to change this free for all feature), GREAT LOOKING TOWN but the town streets are very cramped, some times difficult to see what is there due to angle, small bug (cheat option) if you put the book in your NPCs stuff than you can keep going back to him to get 1000xp and 8000gp since he does not take the book.
Finally, I am not an expert on module creation, but how easy is it to combine all of these modules? _________________________ Ranger's have Lead the Way since there was a way to be lead!
Mmh... really not sure how to rate this. Decent hack & slash module, no RP, as advertised - not really my thing, but I was curious.
WAY over the top on gold reward, that's for certain.

Confusing to have only one quest. Not sure why it has to be multi-player with all these NPCs. Mis-labelled. All right first module. But he needs to get 7zip so he can combine his modules into one.

I played this with Blakiepoo, and have to agree somewhat with his review/comments. I found the town difficult to navigate as well. I also found the treasure/look left behind by the monsters we defeated to be unimaginative. However... that said, I must said it was a good effort. Thank-you for your effort and contribution.

It was the first module I played multiplayer. I found the town very difficult to navigate, especially the Magic shop. And we spent a while trying to figure out what was wrong with all of the broken doors.
It seems like a lot of detail was put in to some things (shops with their 400,000 items!) and not much to do in terms of gaming.

I am not sure how to grade each module in the series as they are really chapters of the same whole. It is as advertised - pure hack and slash. I finishged the last module a level 6 warlock. Combat is hard but doable using a few tricks such a leaving the field of combat to rest. It is fun but each module is too short and companions loose anything given them when starting the next module.

I've played through Midpoint series and I'm ready to vote now. I'll place most of my impressions here. Played as a bard and took four companions with me: rogue, 2 fighters and a paladin. Combat was easy. I liked that I could initiate dialog with some of the citizens. You asked to vote for what this module is. I'm sorry, but I can't bring myself to give a big score for a hack and slash, because lack of RPG elements really diminishes my enjoyment. I would really like if you could be able to join your next series into a campaign. It's just more fun to level up companions by oneself. If you're not going to invest into RPG and area building in the future, there's not much I could advise. It's a minor thing, but it would be nice if you would add module description in-game (when choosing new module). Overall, Midpoint is a fair hack and slash, good enough to spend some evenings.

This was an interesting and entertaining mod. It is very short, maybe a half hour, but worth a look. The areas are well constructed and designed, but unremarkable. The plot is simple and straight forward. The characters are plain with very little conversation or personality. It is as the author stated, a vanilla hack and slash, but a fairly good one. _________________________ Failure is not an option

About to give this a go but wondering if you intend to merge them all into one game?

Look near the alter.

I don't know why, I just can't find the chest in such a small area! Is the chest supposed to light up when I press the z key? Are there any secret doors which I was unable to notice? Is there only one level of cellar?

I love Hack and Slash. This is better than the Seaside series.

Blindskull,
Look for a chest in the cellar, it is there.

Mmm.. Where's the book? Killed a lot of undead in cellar, enough to advance my character to level 2, yet I can't find the book.

Pretty good for a short hack n slash. I thought the monsters were a little too tough for 1st level chars, but managed to win on my second try with a Wiz.
