The third in the Heroes series will take you outside of Midpoint for the first time. Be very careful when you enter the lair of the enemy, traps are deadly.

Good to get outside. But using the gate to leave would have been nice. Nice use of placeables inside cave. Not so nice lack of treasure. Get paid overly high. _________________________ The road to Ravenloft is paved with good intentions.

Well this one went a little longer in terms of combat. the trees made my computer go loopy. Massive slowdown for me, mind you my computer isn't quite a powerful one, especially with a single-core game.
Traps were the worst part of this. game over instantly just for walking away from the entrance.
That's another thing. The entrances have the camera blocked, so you can't even see characters run over to these Deadly traps and die. you just hear the sound effect.

Another good effort. This mod is similiar to the others in this series, short, average areas, minimal npc interactions. It was an enjoyable mod but there is nothing outstanding about it. A good hack and slash. _________________________ Failure is not an option

Happy to see that the hobgob cave was not too large because it wouldn't make sens (so much hobgob near the town). It would be better if the henchmen could carry the equipment and the "memory" of their development. A lot of time spent equiping them (sorry for the mistakes, I'm french)

You could minimize the buying and selling by putting all your mods in a series into one bigger mod. Just a thought. _________________________ Failure is not an option
Thanks again for your comments Ericdomain and I will take these things into consideration when I do my next module. The most important thing to me is to have the player have fun. If buying and selling gets in the way of the fun I need to minimize it and in future creations I will. Your input is greatly appreciated.

Forgot to vote.
Preparation is acceptable, but when you play a game where combat finishes within 5 minutes (if it wasn't for killer traps, prob half that time) and buying and selling takes 10mins well!
I don't know if it would be possible but when you start each mod, could your potentail companions begin at level 1 and then you have control of their feats etc.
I believe a rogues default levelling up is set so that he chooses weapon focus short sword ie +1 to hit. If he was able to choose weapon finesse he would have min of +4 to hit (prob supply him with cat's grace).
My character was a cleric and I took half orc/human fighter, halfling/human rogue and wizard. Rogue and wizard equipped them with Hvy Xbow. As I play hardcore I very rarely give wizard any spells that can damage friends as well as enemies. When she/he does then friends will actually start attacking her.
Even so enlarge person on Beno and his use of hvy xbow was very effective.
By the way, buying and selling is a part of preperation. Preperation is necessary for any important undertaking and that is the moral of this series. "Be Prepared"!

Very basic mod bug free, traps were ridiculous but used summoned monsters to set them off NWN minesweepers.
Again spent more time selling buying goods than combat
