This module is kind of continuation to the old game by Sierra from 1989 "Quest For Glory 1" - Here you will get back to "Spilburg Valley" and meet some of the old characters from the game and few new ones. It seems that the valley isn't so quite as it should be after the hero left last time. There is no need to be familiar with the old game, but it might add some humorous parts to the game.

Download the RAR file (~53MB) open it (~250MB) into the "modules" directory and play :)
The game isn't really finished (there is need to add more content in it) even that you can complete it. also it still need to pass some proofreading.

Started out alright but then fizzled out. One simple quest from the sheriff then he endlessly tells you to come back tomorrow--he might have more work for you. After a week or so of sleeping until morning and coming back I gave up. The surrounding areas were pretty good--the farmland around the castle is one of the visually coolest areas I've seen in NWN2. The brigands were impossible to stand and fight with. I think this one needs much polish.
Smorpheus - thanks for your comment, You are right that this module isn't close to be like the original. And you probably right that I had to do much more work at the exterior areas. But the idea behind doing this module was to learn how to use the toolset, and that exactly what I've done. Maybe I had to add in the description that I used this module for learning and it isn't really finished. I'll add it today... _________________________ Rethild's Wizard campaign
Well, I'm not going to vote yet, because this is obviously far from finished.
Pros:
Spielburg (note spelling) is well reconstructed here. It looks like the town, and you got the geography down perfectly.
Nice scripting for effects like Zara's shop. That's exactly how it was in QFG1, and it's nice to see.
Cons:
Exterior areas need a lot of work. Many are missing map pins, it's confusing and frustrating to navigate, and isn't very faithful to the original. Some areas are poorly walkmeshed.
Questing needs a lot of work. Stuff like the hermit denying you the quest if you get his puzzle wrong and the previously mentioned goblin quest... Debug, Debug, Debug.
Player has no direction. You have no idea why you are there, or what you should be doing, very much unlike the original.
Hundreds of typos. No, I'm not exaggerating. Bad grammar, bad spelling, and incoherent text abounds.
Quest For Glory, as the name implies, is all about quests. I didn't find that many quests in here. Much of this module is just wandering around. Talking to the healer in the hut, and having her not give you a quest was a bit sad. Breaking quests by making minor mistakes, is not good. Overall, you need to get to proofreading this thing, and significantly enhancing the quests.
If I did rate it today, I would probably give this a 2.5. _________________________ Smorpheus' Toolset Visual Index Link
***** POSSIBLE SPOILER *****
You should kill 2 diffrent creatures to finish this sub-quest. If you killed only one of them the goblin king won't give you the XP and the reward. Anyhow this sub-quest isn't important, and you can finish without doing it. you may also attack the king to get the item which he promised to you.
******** END OF SPOILER*******
I really hope that my beta tester found all the bugs, if somthing slipped through i'll fix it and post a new revision.
Seeker Of Rain,
I'm enjoying this mod so far, although I have encountered a snag.
********* POSSIBLE SPOILER***********
When I've done what the goblin king asks me to do, he doesn't recognize that I did. My journal updates and says I should go tell him I did what he wanted. _________________________ Help is good when asked for,
