This this the unfinished work known as Defiance 4. It's a 40 area PW. All areas are designed, 50% of scripts are coded, creatures and loot are half missing.
It is coded over a nice PW framework, whose documentation is included.
The project was abandonned because key actors ran out of real world time to complete it, but it's a promising work that I release to the community for somebody else to pursue.
The file is currently broken. Downloaded it two times - cannot unpack with 7zip (says file is corrupted).
So sorry, no vote until fixed.

I now have the autodownloader working and the mod is currently running. One question though. Does the mod have a player location save script already setup in the mod?

Well I have the autodownloader working now for a fresh 1 area mod. For some reason this mod is giving me fits trying to use the autodownloader. Going to try and bake all areas and see if that may be the issue.

Great looking PW. I tried hosting it but I am haveing issues with the stupid auto downloader and it is driveing me nuts. I have never had this many issues with an autodownloader for a game.
Other than that it is a great mod.

If anyone is interested in helping. I am going to merge this into the Base PW module I've posted. I'm still working out the details of which scripts to maintain and keep. I'll be posting full documentation of what the scripts do, how to build more onto the module, and adapting all spawns to the mpwc_spawn system.

Moloch, I do have one question - was there a todo list that you had when the project was abandoned? It'd be extremely helpful in picking up development of this, but if not I'll figure it out.

There's no way at all I can let something this amazing die. Moloch, since you've put so much work into this, and it clearly shows from just looking at the areas, it'd appear your team had some extremely talented artists. This is nothing like the other PWs I've seen around.
I'm a programmer by trade, so I'll do my best to finish up the scripts and get things 100% working. As for new areas and content, I'm not much of an artist, but if you or anyone else wants to work with me on bringing this back to life and getting it running let me know. As for hosting, I have an 8 way server with 8 GB of RAM doing just about nothing, on a gig-e link, so I think I can throw this up there when it's all finished. ;)
I've noticed by taking pictures to add screenshots that some areas have suffered the heavay patching that occured this last 6 monthes : some textures are corrupted and some placed effects have changed of orientation. Also, I was unable to take pictures of the ceiling in DM Mode.

The atmosphere and the tileset colouring was often outright outstanding. I freely admit that I will use one of your 40 areas as a starting corner of a special area in my little sp-mod I'm working on atm. WOW! I downloaded your mod and tried out some of the areas. You folks really did a great job! I am trying to get information on how to create a PW on our server. I have downloaded the NWN2Server package but I am not sure what to do next. Any help, suggestions, would be greatly appreciated... Thanks. Thanks. I release this mod to the community so that it is not a lost work. Use it freely.
There are some scripting I'm quite proud of, such as the Star Of Bane puzzles or the theater play, and some designs I love too, such as Nyorlosogoth's plane, the fairy forest or the dragon's cave.

Wow - there are some really lovely areas in this. I wonder if you meant to put this under the prefab section? Am I allowed to use any of the areas in my module, or did you just want them to be used in a PW? _________________________
