I laughed at the humour, cringed at the violence, cried out at the horror, & swooned to the drama. This module has everything & probably deserves a higher mark, but I will reserve the right to alter my score until such a time my shrink says the song has been purged from my mind for good. Strange little module which apparently has no exit back to the beginning. Fun for awhile until experience gets too low per kill. _________________________ The road to Ravenloft is paved with good intentions.

Very funny. Also a cathcing song, which has a possibility to become a cult hit. _________________________ A good module author is PAG: Patient, Ambitious and Gutsy.

I imported my character from the end of the OC and thought "LOL! I will soooo own this!". I died.... But I had to try again. Then I died. BUT Maybe this time... Rats, rats, the elemental plane of rats...
I hate you Wyrin. ;)

Sorta like a MacDonalds Playground for NWN2 folks.

rats, rats, the elemental plane of rats rats, the elemental plane of rats rats, rats, the elemental plane of rats rats, the elemental plane of rats rats, rats, the elemental plane of rats rats, the elemental plane of rats rats, rats, the elemental plane of rats rats, the elemental plane of rats
AUUGGHHH! I just can't stop.
Thanks Wyrin *says sarcastically* _________________________ Help is good when asked for,

Thanks guys! Glad others are suffering as much as me with that tune! ;)
Yeah,. I've just toned down the damage reduction on the fiendish/celestial rats as they biased lower levels too much to fighter types. Might work in some more balancing issues but this is for a laugh as much as anything else!
Thanks for risking the trip down to that cellar! _________________________ Wyrin
I think the music is actually hypnotizing me making me play more and longer. Everyone in my house is now walking around singing "rats, rats the elemental plane or rats....", even the three year old. IT JUST WON"T STOP!
I did find the celestial and fiend rat to be overwhelming for a level one character, once I got to level 2 and had a +1 weapon I was fine with them. The spitting rats were tough but with a bunch of healing kits and using the trap doors were mostly survivable. The sheer number of rats that eventually end up in the game I found caused a lot of lagging. Perhaps at level up wipe out all the rats in the cellar to prevent this lag and prevent low level characters from being overwhelmed when they return to the cellar.

That was an amusing diversion. My first level character didn't last too long, so I tried it at lvl 20 and it made my eyes hurt, with all the effects going on!
The music is stuck in my head now. And that alone makes it worth a 7.5! I think I will go play through DA1 for the third time, so that I can finally play DA2...

Hahaha, what a module...
I think warlocks stand a pretty good chance of lasting some time, especially if they're at the level where they can use eldritch doom abilities, since warlocks have unlimited casts, and dooms have mass area of effect.
Was the singing done by you? Well sung, even if there isn't much in the way of lyrics =P
hehe thanks guys!
@ creepygnome - make it to level 2 and you get a chance to buy new equipment. yeah, the spitting rat might need toning downa bit. healing kits should respawn in the chests tho
@TopAceOfEarth - yeah the high levels is where it gets screwy! Good AC and damage reduction and there's only a few things that can hit you. Can understand wanting to pass up on the 60 hours tho! ;) _________________________ Wyrin

It is actually a nice module, I tried it with a lvl 30 build (my DragonMaster Negotiator see sig.) and although they managed to damage me they couldn't kill me. Storm of Vengence stopped me and some mind attack dazed me but even then they couldn't chew through my armor. I stopped at 5050 points, didn't want to go for the full 60 gameplay hours :P
I guess a lower lvl character gets more problems. Or a spellcaster, or anyone with low AC for that matter. But the idea is great :) _________________________ EPIC CAMPAIGN 3.00
My Human F1 Bonk Da Smasher didn't survive too long though. He was highly disappointed to not find the Warmace he was prepared to use. The spitting rat finished him off rather quickly. The music was appropriately maddening. I will refrain from voting until I get a better score!
