What can I say. A true masterpiece. Right from the start you realise you're going into something extraordinary, and the introduction alone is enough to get you hooked.
I can't begin to imagine how much work went into this, excellent work throughout.
Just a small bug (probably). If I exited an area while controlling a character other than my own (the bard for instance) I could use the F keys to change characters on the map screen and move around much faster. Was this deliberate? I don't know. But also, 6 out of 10 times, doing this would have me end up in a bad transition and me spawning below the map.
Need some help, please! Somehow my PC got stuck behind some iron bars in the Prison area while I was controlling another character. I inadvertently saved my game before noticing and my previous save was about 6 hours of tedious item-hunting earlier, which I don't want to redo if I can avoid it. I need to teleport to a safe part of the area, but don't know the proper tag or coordinates to use with the "dm_jumptopoint" console command. Can anyone with access to the Toolset (I don't--I'm using a Mac) tell me the proper tag or coordinates to get out of this jam? Thanks in advance!
Dan

The only bug I encountered was with the merchant(as mentioned below). As mentioned, the visuals are jaw dropping, especially the dwarven architecture. Well put together story. I liked the NPCs. Monsters were perfect concerning difficulty at first, then became too easy. This is easily fixed in the toolset, and I'll be buffing Mr. Main Not Being Very Nice At All Person especially(that certainly wasn't a spoiler; there's one of those in any story), and the vampires and dragons were laughably easy; I'll be buffing them up as well. Anyone playing this for the first time might want to do this before playing maybe...
Overall, excellent work, and thanks for the creepy weird goth flavored fun!!

Concerning the bugged Strange Little Merchant exchanges, he's supposed to give a Bone Ring for the Dented Flute, but they misspelled it in the code. You can spawn it with "giveitem x0_it_mring008".
The other item is tagged slm_sling and it is not in the module. We can only wonder what it was intended to be.

Good: Very good Ravenloft atmosphere. A surprise overland map. Enjoyable and rewarding exploration. Gruesome horror encounters.
Bad: Rushed and incomplete towards the end. Starts with difficult combat as some companions join with little or no equipment, then turns into a piece-of-cake hack and slash as exploration yields rewards.

There is nothing I could say that hasn't already been said. Thanks to everyone at BouncyRock for this masterpiece. Looking forward to anything else you all make.

This is really excellent... definitely one of the best NWN2 mods in the vault. The area design is amazing, especially the overland map and the town areas. Great attention to detail. Cool custom music. And the story (the most important piece of a module in my opinion) is top notch.
It's mostly a hack-and-slash module - I really didn't see much in terms of role play except for the very beginning.
Couple of minor things I didn't like... the combat is a bit on the easy side, especially towards the end. It seems like the game doesn't scale all that much as you increase in levels, and the last battle is rather anti-climactic as a result. We basically wiped the floor with him.

Just finished the game and wanted to thank you for many hours of great fun! This was definitely one of the most different and interesting games on the vault - virtually in black and white lol! The characters were well drawn, the areas looked fabulous, and I didn't run into any problems.

SPOILER
That's exactly where it was - I came here to let you know where I found it. Very tricky btw - I passed it twice and didn't look at it thinking it was part of the fields lol!
The Dragon Key is in the northeast area of the map inside a cave - up at the very top.
OK - here goes nothing... let's see if I can remember. It's been a long time!
Dezminear Valley: Eye of the Beholder
Shalisvar's Shadow: Shard of the City
The Asylum: Crown
Vilecrop Fields: Hand of the Harvester
Dead Stump on Overland Map: Dryad's Gift
Prison: Horn of the Minotaur
I believe the soil and stone are found on the overland map. The stone is by the entrance to Dezminear Valley. The soil... I'm pretty sure is found around the southwestern part of the map. Hold down the 'Z' key to highlight useable objects. You should find them. The soil and stone will help you get the Dryad's Gift, which is one of the quest items.
Hope this helps!
**** SPOILERS END ****

I would greatly appreciate some help - I am walking around in cirlces and am about to give up! I really would like to finish this game so please, can somebody tell where to find the soil and stone? Also, where can I find the dragon key?
SPOILER - Last, but certainly not least, where can I find the 6th quest piece? I have the crown (actually 4 of them), the hand, the eye, and the shard. What am I missing and where the hell is it??? END SPOILER
I was really enjoying this game, but am getting very frustrated and don't want to have to go back to everyplace I've already been. I can't find any new locations on the map and, believe me, I've looked!
I would be eternally grateful for any help!
Thanks,
Karen :)

This is definitely one of the most interesting games I've played in while - very different, and I think you managed to get just about every NWN2 monster into it! So thank you for the "depressing" fun lol!
I've noticed a few things that seem to be bugs that I haven't read about on the board and thought I'd mention them. First, after finding Lexi in the asylum he lost some of his feats and can't use his 5th level spells. I also ended up with 3 of the Lich's crowns! Is this going to mess up my game and, if so, should I dump 2 of them?
I know others have already mentioned this, but the game dumps me to the desktop - a lot, especially after heavy fights. I am enjoying the game though and haven't come across any major problems. I'll be back to vote after finishing.
"I'm probably just going to release that here as a separate .mod file
If it's going to happen at all, it'll be before Halloween. ;)"
Since it's past Halloween now, does that mean you're not going to post the fixes? I was hoping to see the update you mentioned before I started playing it. _________________________ Tchos' Gaming & Modding

@ Raduzeil: No, it's not currently compatible with Kaedran's PRC pack. Sorry!
@Ursine: (Spoilers) Press and hold the Z key to highlight useable objects. There's a rope in the dining area - that's what you're looking for, I believe. It should be next to a Statue that's laying down.
@Dulaman: Yeah? well, you know, that's just like, uh... your opinion, man.

Thanks to everyone for your comments and votes. It's been awhile since the release of this module and it's great to know people are still playing and enjoying it!
I apologize to all those who run into bugs (especially that stupid Lich one!). There's a build in SVN that's got a few fixes in it. I'm probably just going to release that here as a separate .mod file to replace the current one instead of repackaging a new install.exe.
Anyways - I'll keep you updated. If it's going to happen at all, it'll be before Halloween. ;)

I loved the idea of the opening!!! The rest stunk! =) I could not play the rest, actually, because it was too tedious. The first problem (*spoilers ahead*) was that the overly dramatic delay in the announcement of the title of for the module. If there is one thing you do not want to do, it is to build up false hope if it is unwarranted. Second, there was a protracted delay betwixt the cutscene and the final arrival of the title, itself. Your computer might be extremely fast, but keep in mind that not everyone has the same speed graphics card that you do, and that it is unappealing to have to stare at a white screen for moments on end. Third, although someone apparently allowed for scripiting of a bard PC to tell a tale in the tale-telling circle, that same person apparently failed to recognize that a bard PC really has no need nor desire to be paired with another bard. To add to this frustration, there were no options at all to get rid of (via conversation or combat) this irritating snarkily morose forced-upon-me ill-mannered poser. A real bard has pathos, and without it is entirely incapable of connecting with any audience whatever. This imposterish emplacement of a minstrel is such a mouthful of sour grapes that noone in their right mind would listen to his whiny, insinuatingly prosy drivel. And... last - but only because I did not continue further than inerest and good sense allowed - the plot was incredibly forced and linear. Ergo, the plane never left the ground. I have nothing more to say.

Be helpful winwood or don't write at all. It's just annoying and poor game design to hide stuff where players can't find it.

This was the first NWN2 module I played all the way through, and while I enjoyed it, some things detracted from a higher final score. Firstly, combat was way too easy. Combat wise this was the easiest NWN1 or NWN2 mod or official compaign I ever played. Perhaps I should have dismissed 2 of my companions, but even in the end game with the final boss, while I was buffing a companion at the very beginning of the encounter, my two other companiopns finished the boss off in seconds. So just 2 of my group was able to beat the tar of the game's main baddie without breaking a sweat. I never even got to lay a single blow. Disappointing. I also ran into the Liche bug but an even more extreme form of it. At one point, I had a group of 20-30 duplicate Liches just standing there like gorged flies on a turd, doing nothing but dropping my frame rates. This really broke immersion to say the least. Otherwise this was a pretty good mod - level design, story, atmosphere, etc. - but consider it much lesser than the best NWN1 mods I've played. Good thing I played MOTB after this to keep the faith & interest in wanting to continue with NWN2 mods.

Models and world is exelent. But story after Dryad join becomes boring exploration...

Yes ursine, there is a 4th item. Look harder.

Well i was unable to finish. Could not open the last door. Possibly bugged. Very good looking, but very little content.

How do i get past the last door with 4 chests? I found poison, candelabra and dagger. I guess there is a 4th item but I can't find it!! pls help.
Where the hell is the dryad's soil? And the last artifact (I've got the lich crown, harvest hand, shard of the broken city, eye of beholder and horn of beast)? The slow motion at the overland map doesn't help either.
Just to add, I actually didn´t find any other bugs than Lich/dryad. Oh yeah, I hit the bug with the Vistani chick too, where she didn´t join party but that was fixed with a restart (fortunately it was early in game)
