DESCRIPTION:
A retired adventurer living in Ballybeg village, you are once more called into action when your wife falls ill with a mysterious disease that has been afflicting the villagers. The mayor blames a wizard living outside of town for the illness and sends you into the wilderness to hunt him down. But you soon learn that something deeper is afoot and the world you know is not what it seems.
Created by a 3-person team as a senior project, "Core Corruption" is a short single-player science-fiction adventure for a level 4 or lower character and runs roughly two to three hours. Primary spellcasters are not advised as there are no companions to body block for characters designed to fight from a distance.
FEATURES:
New story - unravel the mystery of Ballybeg village, discover your origins, and make the choice that will either save the world you know or destroy it.
New setting - explore Ballybeg village, the outskirts, and the realm of the system.
New enemies - do battle with corrupted goblins, malignant programs, and the Corruption itself. All added enemies sport new or modified textures and the Corruption uses a new enemy model.
Multiple endings - depending on your alignment and choices after defeating the Corruption, experience one of several varied endings.
Enhanced Morality System - Characters will have access to different bonus feats depending on their alignment. Core Corruption also introduces the Alignment Bar, a new GUI element to help track your moral progression. As your alignment shifts across the spectrum the Alignment Bar will change in kind.
New music - all music was custom made for Core Corruption.
INSTALLATION:
-Extract the contents of "core corruption.zip" and copy them into your "My Documents" folder. When a window pops up asking if you still want to move or copy the folder, click "Yes to All."

Very interesting and very different from anything else out there for NWN2. I found the module to be almost 2 hours long. Combat was repeative but that was part of the plot. Mo companions so it was almost all combat.

An intriguing story with an unusual use of DnD archetypes to depict various aspects of programming.
I liked it, although it was painfully apparent you were working with time constraints. This was brought out by the lack of detail and the various "floating" placeables, (select an item and hit the PgDn button).
The skins you added to many creatures, placeables and tiles certainly conveyed the feeling of Sc-Fi.
All in all, not a bad module. With some detailing and a few more plot directions in the journal, it could be much more than it is. As a senior exam project, I'm sure you did well on your grade.
Good luck and thanks for sharing this with us. _________________________ Help is good when asked for,

Yes, you can solo it. The "Multiplayer" tag seems to be something that got added when this was moved from the NWN1 section to the NWN2 section. I'll be uploading screenshots later tonight.

A few screenshots would be nice.
Maybe one showing off the new gui, or new creatures?
Does sound rather interesting.
You describe your adventure as multi-player 1-4 players, I take it you can play solo also? _________________________ Help is good when asked for,
