For those who haven't started module 4 yet, (Bagthorpe) please substitute this one for the one in the modules folder. This corrects a bad journal entry.
If anyone is already playing module 4, (Bagthorpe) please email me when you reach the break point and I can correct the error for you.
Thank you to those players who pointed out the mistake.
This is a walkthrough for the first three modules of The Kitchen Boy campaign. It was prepared by Christine13Black. Minor changes may have occurred since it was written.
You need only replace this module if you are playing a female PC. The actual problem, a faulty conditional, doesn't stop the game for either sex, but a journal entry is missed and Jack Rolling's grandmother just hangs and doesn't go on her way.
Dear Calagorn, Pls email me on nc1701dpgb@aol.com if you have a problem. My visits to this site are quite rare. I think you just need to keep speaking to the denzens of the kitchen. Best wishes, PGB

Hoping someone here can help me out. I am in the kitchen and I've spoken to everyone. I've driven the vampire bat off. But I'm stuck on what to do from here to further the plot along. No amount of knocking (bash) will elicit a response from the chef. Can I get some help? heh heh

If there were the ability to give higher than 10 I'd do it. This one guy has done a better job at balancing a challenging gamble, writing an engaging script, and pacing the story between climaxes and lulls than I have seen teams be able to do.

A challending, extremely detailed module, better than most original games. The end modules are still in progress, but are worth the wait.

Thanks for the quick reply. Just selected the character for another mod (having swapped haks etc around) and he appears with power attack etc. Loaded FRW character creator and created a new character, he appeared in that mod with power attack etc, saved him. Swapped haks around again, chose that character for your campaign and again he appears as a default cleric.

Dear Eric, I don't know the answer to that. I tried it myself just now and I became a divine champion of Gond in ten seconds flat. Why not try creating your character in the OC and import into 'The Kitchen Boy'? By the way, I am very rarely on this site, and it was just by luck that I caught your query on the day. If you want further assistance, please email me on nc1701dpgb@aol.com Best wishes, PGB

I seem to be having a problem at the beginning. I chose a cleric and the domains do not appear, your god nor the feats I chose. It gives you a default cleric. The same happened with a rogue.Any reason for this and please help, cheers.

Though some might find the combat difficult (or too easy), and some of the puzzles a little obtuse, these should not distract from enjoying the better parts of this work. Namely the impressively written story and dialogue, good pacing and interesting ideas.

Dear Uberpsion, Pls email me on nc1701dpgb@aol.com. It is unusual for Tom to have done a runner at this stage and I should like to check your game.
