This is my first finished mod for NWN2, and is essentially a Puzzle Dungeon I used to gain a working knowledge of C++ Scripting to help in my current job search.
The module itself is a series of Puzzles for a wizard character, level 1, that should bring you up to level 3 or 4. It was designed as the beginning to a Campaign that I may finish, especially if I get feedback encouraging the campaign. The campaign will have many more elements, like actually Role-playing, Romance-able NPCs, etc. This is just a quick (ish) dungeon crawl, Linear but all puzzles. Shouldn't take too long to finish, depending on how skilled you are at Logic Grid Puzzles.
Constructive criticism welcomed; if I do go about making a campaign, I want to know what parts of this people liked and didn't like (I likely won't change any of this, as this will be the beginning, but I'll keep it in mind when writing the future plot).
This module is intended for a Wizard character, level 1. The campaign (as you may notice from the Journal Entry) is aimed at a Human (or any race with a reasonably human lifespan) and, in the case of romance being in the future campaign, a reasonable racial choice for a human or elf to be interested in you.

I liked this, mayhaps I am a fool for puzzles. The only stickler was the gem logic puzzle, which could use some refinement. The ending was a bit abrupt, but overall was a good way to kill an hour and gives a history for a new wizard character.

Never mind, figured it out...

Need help here... In the Gem logic puzzle, think I solved the puzzle part, same answer as the previous 2 came up with, then cast Burning Hands on the box with 4 gems in it (doesn't belong - not a prime number...) This didn't work, so what else do I need to do?
Thanks!
(spoiler)
The clue on the gems test exit door only made sense in retrospect after I cast on everything.
I think I failed the knight/knave/rogue test, as I got through ok but no xp. To me it was a 50-50, without a detect undead spell.
I think I also failed the construct/cages test as no xp there either, not that I mind about xp but it seemed an indicator of success.
Bravo. I will probably study your scripts.
Look forward to your larger modules.
Very good. Also worked out the same combination as anest1s's first, ie:
5 Fl E
2 Av W
3 Am S
1 Gr N
But no number of spells (burning or otherwise) on door or remaining unused chests/gems etc worked for me.
Guess I should stick to stealing or waving heavy iron girders.
yeah, chicken does have shield and magic missile spells, but it tends to charge if you're prepared for it (somehow knows that if you have shield, it shouldn't cast magic missile).
Oh, and I had lost my account password, so this is my other account. _________________________ Check out Raiders of the Lost Tomes: Link
Had done scrolls so that the wizard would have all the first level spells (everything else was going to be removed, when it came down to it).
As for the Logic Puzzle, it's not a Sudoku, but a logic grid puzzle...
you have 3 categories; Gem, Direction, Prime Number. Each box tells you something about it's contents (middle) or it's direction (the extremes of the room).
Huge Hint (spoiler alert): the "odd" box is the one that ends up with an even number in it (odd in that it stands out, that part may have been written poorly now that I think about it).
I don't have the solution near me, BUT you don't need to destroy a box, just cast a spell at it when they are all full (for some reason my "or" statement failed, so I commented it out, allowing for ANY spell, not just Burning Hands or Orb of Fire which I had originally envisioned). _________________________ Check out Raiders of the Lost Tomes: Link
Either of those should be correct. I think the first one should be more correct than the other 2 though. But the box that is odd (that starts saying the direction first) can't be destroyed. So what should I do, try all combinations and destroy all possible boxes loading 100 times?
OR I could be wrong, IF the box in the middle tells that it has no odd pair within it left. ((This also makes me wonder; should I keep the spare gems in my backpack, or let them on the boxes they used to be?)) Then it should probably be solvable. But I don't think so, and I already try this for 2 hours, so whatever. And then maybe I am just wrong, that wouldn't surprise me given that its 5am and I kept the notes on a post-it :P
Also I didn't get the one with the chicken, but it died easily, so I didn't mind. I mean I was expecting something with magic missiles true strike and shield, but it still caught me off guard :P
Nice intro for a campaign though (Dragonlance inspired? :P )
Suggestion- maybe you should give wands instead of scrolls? Because you could remove the wands later, but you can't remove the spells...and you just give a wizard all of them. (Also it would be playable for sorcerers too :P )
