I'v uploaded the Standalone Server because this is how I fixed My Client/Server mis-match error, I had one patched copy of the server one un-patched on my server. I simply copied the patched version to my NWN2 Server and now I can connect to the server without a problem. I'm hoping this will will help others with the problem. Simply copy the file over your original NWN2 Server file in
C:\Program Files\Atari\NWN2\
***NOTE: This is Server Verision 9.12 for NWN2 Patch 1.05
FYI, if you seek a restart server you can simply use the nwn1 restart servers. All that you need do is change the name of the nwn2 Server from "nwn2server" to "nwserver". Make sure the server has the correct module path entered and your good to go.
A reminder to you that even though this works, this is a cheap fix till an official release is made. Also, as far as i know you cannot create server logs yet. This should work for any server restart from nwn1 that keys on the server exec. and allows you to set the module file path. I have been using this method for my server 12-1-06 with no trouble. For those who still have it, NWNSC2 is my restart server. The link in the nwn vault is not viable anymore. I did not make this, so i dont feel i should re-post it. Try it with yours if you have one already, or get a viable restart server from the vault.
Just a note to others that may get confused by the description of this package.
This is NOT the complete stand alone server package. This is just the nwn2server.exe file that seems to fix a few peoples issues with version mismatches. I did not have this problem so I cannot say if this works or not.
